Sounds like a scam to me, keep clear.

Not worth the hassle, tell him you cant go ahed with the deal due to pay pall issues etc and then get your fee back from Ebay and re list.

Not worth loosing such a large amount of money.

Used to own a VR6 superb, great handling , even better noise from the Engine. No Great traction problems, but in the wet with 190BHP like all cars you have to take care.
Very under rated car at the time and never sold a great deal due to lack of Marketing by VAG.

Most of the VR6’s have had head gasket and dash board problems so buy with care.

    Try this first – 3.5mm to Phono…

“ignore suggestions like this – the quality will be pretty low and probably noisy as well.”

    Well worth a go

This is what I’ve got it’s approx 5 M long and there is no Audible noise, although subjective the Quality if OK for music off Itunes and Sportifi. The best £ 5 i spent on my music system as it’s opened up a whole new musical world.

However I may invest in a DAC in the near future

Thanks, would this be any good, as a pre amp between a mac mini and a Musical fidelity XA amp?

What advantage is there to a DAC as opposed to a headphone jack plug connected to an Amp for listening to spotify?

Nakamichi if they still make them or Rockford Fosgate used to make some quite low key head units.

If they stick to the tracks get together and do some maintenance days and self police then let the 4×4’s enjoy their hobby.

Go to your local halford and get a bike box, take it to bits and seal it up with a load of parcel tape from the pound shop.

Go on the Parcel force web site book an online collection( or get them to do it) you can specify collection time and place. You get a tracking number so you know when it’s been delivered.
It’s not really a lot of bother costs about £26
Sold a few bikes on ebay over the years with no bother

Looks like it could be a good series.

Better to have a petrol head present a show like this rather than some footbal or X factor type person.

The 6R4 has to be up there at the top.
But what about the Ferrari 250 GTO ?

You need to assess the heat demand for your heating in Kw, then you can consult data which can tell you how much heat you can expect per meter run. If surface area likely to be insufficient then bore holes can be an option.

How about a spicy 516 ? Ive got a 316 with fox 36s and it’s superb used it in Les gets this summer a few gravity enduro’s and general xc rides including trail centers etc. Quite a long wheel base and nice geometry

Some OK tracks can be found around the Maentwrog area, also some of the stuff used in the Coed y Brenin enduro around the perimiter of the forest can be OK.

Same here it kicks in at around lunchtime ( usually on Mondays)and also following a long ride. Ive had it for years and it’s very hard to function with a massive pain. When it gets very bad i have to get some antibiotics etc. Now I’m on a steroid spray.
Doc tells me that over the counter spray makes it worse as the passages are restricted.
Teeth grinding can produce similar pain I’ve beet told, be similar do you have ulcers both sides of your mouth ?

Like andyl suggests above Ive got a leisure battery ( caravan battery ) connected to a small solar panel on the roof of my shed controlled via a regulator. I have a 240 v inverter which can push out 300watts with this have 2 240v compact connected to 240v 9 watt fluorescent bulbs. Whole set up cost approx £200 and i learnt a whole lot of about off grid electrics in the process.

I was on an uplift day on Thursday and there where lots of people on hardtails apart from pinch flats due to low pressure in back tires all seemed to cope with no problems.

510’s are good the only downside is that they tend to soak up water like a sponge and are a bit heavy.

    The grip is superb.

Some Vans’s are OK the ones with the waffle sole if I remember.

After milling it over for a long time I finally took the plunge and purchased a used T5 last year. Spent a lot of time and money doing the inside etc together with the obligatory alloys etc.
despite the bad weather it’s been used a few weekends this year as well as transporting bikes etc and logs
Just came back form a trip to the Alps superb vehicle can’t wait to go again.

I would say cCoed y Brenin as there is a cafe etc and a more diverse choice of trails. I prefer the trails at Penmachno to Marin, but having said that the last DH of the Marin is a cracker.

Either way you will not be disappointed.

You could also have a bash at the Antur Stiniog centre which is 1/2 way between the two for uplift services etc.

I enjoyed the Dyfi event a lot more than the race at CYB, it was how I expected a gravity enduro to be. Although I was surprised by the climbs in about 2 of the stages

Having only done a practice of stage 1 and 5 I rode 3,4&5 blind like a few people which I talked to. I rode the qualifying with a full face and Sunday with a XC lid.
Looking back a full face should have been mandatory on the stages but would have been impossible on the climbs.

Hope the series for next year goes ahead.

Stick it on E-bay as an unfinished project, otherwise throw a stack of money which you may never get back at it.

When going down the zig Zags on the slate road eat tires from Marchlyn I always end up with a puncture on the way down, take some spare tubes.

With regards to the DH track at Moel y Ci it’s legit just respect the local dog walkers and Horse riders etc. If if go by Car to the site don’t speed past houses and leave rubbish in the car park etc.

If you are going over to the Continent then you may possibly find getting breakdown insurance for a vehicle over 10 years could be more expensive

Rode SPD’s for years till I got stuck in a crash and broke my tib and fib, back on flats for about 5 years would never go back to SPD’s.

Broke my tib and fib got the whole works internal plates and nail etc, took it easy for a while another fall is just not worth it. As others have said above listen to your body you will know when it feels ok and if you are tired or there is any pain stop.

Aim to be at the end of the Tarmac at the top of the steep hill at 5pm with a fairly fast push and some riding on some of the easy stuff you should be at the top by about 7:30/8 this leaves most of the walkers exept a few straglers to get off the mountain leaving you with a chance to get a good blast on the way down and less risk of knockig a walker.
Please observe the times in the Ban it’s been that way for over 15 years it would be a shame for us to loose it.

Like tpbiker I purchased one just to give myself the best chance should i have a big accident.
In the time I’ve owned the leat brace I have one big headplant and the brace seemed to keep my head straight and my whole head locked in position.
I have read that extreme impacts can cause collar bone brakes as in the cases of MX and desert racing etc so in effect the Collar bone is sacrificed.
In the absence of independent research the debate will go on !!!

I was always under the impression that Paypal gift was a way of the person making the payment to be liable for the ( extortionate) fees that Paypal charge, rather than the person selling an item.

Maybe a letter to his local police station can sort things out!!!
