Have a look at the Car Audio direct web site they have a good range.

Did the doors in my Transporter prior to a new speakers , good stuff.

I used flashband on other areas, Used silver foil tape around the perimeter as the Adhesive can loose the bond when the car has been in hot weather.

Get an used intel mac mini, upgrade the memory and install a new HD one that runs at a higher speed. Quite easy to do loads of clips on youtube.

The beauty of it is for me almost instant start up no waiting around for ages like my windows lap top.

Don’t bother with tubless been there not worth the faff.

Go for a HR try single ply first.

I tend to stick with a single ply on the front and Dual on the back.

Works for me Coed y Brenin, Snowdon and Antur Stiniog,

“High rollers are only good for the DHs. Very Draggy and hard work for any trail that isn’t a cliff’

Don’t Agree with the above at all.

You say Very Draggy but what does that equate to on a 10 min fire road climb ?

I had the same problem, put the cassette back on and use a piece of soft wood and give it a good bash with a hammer.
The way its shown on the hope web site is way to easy.

A system such as the one you propose will require some heavy cables as you only have 12v in the car and most good subs will be about 200w the current may blow your fuse.
Your best and safest bet would be to run a cable front to back from the battery to the boot, a lot o hassle but worth it for the inevitable future upgrades once you start going down that road.
I have picked up some good stuff from the car audio direct web site for my van.

That sounds terrible and that’s why in too scared to ride to work.
Been thinking lately in situations such as the one you encountered although hard to do sometimes just easing off the pedals on a slight dab on the brakes will reduce the time exposed to danger and give a truck more time do move back.
It may cost a few seconds or loose a kom but you will get home in one piece

Neil young is working on a high quality digital format see link above.

I think that these days most music is optimised to sound ok on crap systems and most people just don’t care so there is not enough money in it.

As Rik says, the 3c can be considered top of the range for grip, the 60a should in theory provide less grip.

I hired a bike a number of years ago at the shop near the Monte Baldo cable car.

The brakes where on the side, think it was a full suss KTM. Quite reasonable to hire. The shop where quite vague about where to take it !!

But I purchased a map and found some great tracks.
I think there has been a World Gravity Enduro so you should be able to suss out where to go.

Been using a 10w solar panel together with a charge controller for a few years now with no problems. At the moment it’s powering a 12V 10w LED flood light which is connected to a 12V night and day sensor.

You need deep cycle batteries as used in caravans etc and the charge controller will keep them topped up when not in use.

With the Advent of 12v LED lights the power reserve in these batteries are superb.

You need puncture resistance on the Rangers so i would advise high pressure. I use High Roller all year round Dual ply on the back and super tacky on the front. If that’s any help !

No matter what tyres you have, you’ll have a great time.

Remember to observe the correct times for riding Snowdon.

Depends on where and how you ride, I have have used my 09 spicy in the alps and uplift days. Took it round the MBR last weekend could have gone up the hills a bit quicker on my 120mm ex8 but the spicy is a lot more fun on the downs.
Ride it first before you decide

I have done 100+ puncture free runs up to now at antur stiniog .

Tyres are high roller dual ply 3c compound with £ 3.50 tesco tubes.

The pressure in the tyres is fairly high compared with a more loamy course.

Invest in some good tyres and you will also notice the difference grip wise.

    Enjoy your day.

Led lights are the best option now that you can get hold of 12v units.

You can use a leisure battery about 85 amp hr with an inverter to get 240 v if you need it but only about 300w or so.

    eBay is your best bet,

I just hit hold of a 12v night and day sensor for about £25 and a 12v led flood light for £10 to provide external lights for my shed.
My next move is to add another PVC cell which was £38 for 20w again from eBay this hopefully will keep the battery topped up over the winter months.

If you use spray foam the slates can not be re used when re roofing.
You may also loose ventilation and the roof structure can then suffer from condensation. The insulation may also have poor insulation properties.
There are alternatives such as this

A proper crash tested seat and seat belt set up can be an expensive job.
Don’t trust the lives of others on a home made set up fixed with angle iron and washers. Insist on a product with a certificate of conformity.

The mountain haste been covered in snow for weeks so there are loads of people who have been waiting for nice weather to do it. Saturday afternoon is not the best time best to wait until the end of day.
Been up loads of times but have never had any problems.

I had some success with a car spray compressor worked first time in most cases. But the pressure has to be very high for the tyre to bead properly, was always concerned what would happen if the tyre bust and after going to more than 80psi with no success I gave up on tubeless. Not worth the faff.

Not much between cricieth and Porthmadog but once in port go on to to the cycle track and on to penryndaedraeth .
Cross the toll bridge turn left towards meantwrog , when you see a small hydro power station turn right up a steep Tarmac climb with gates up to gellilydan. This will save going on the main a470.
From here you can ride to cyb or if more adventurous head up a steep climb up to tomen y mur the old roman amphitheatre and pick up a bridle path through a remote area to the back end of trawsfynydd.
You can then ride down the a470 and if you still have energy ride the trails in cyb.

Dolgellau / Barmouth area good access to coed y Bernin Marin trail in betws etc.
you could also go to Porthmadog ride the Ffestiniog railway etc, day trip to beddgelert and then on to Caernarfon castle. A trip to antur stiniog either jump part or uplift on the easy blue trail if you don’t fancy riding up hill while on the same site at llechweddyour family can go underground at llechwedd.
If you are really brave you can go on the new zip wire at Bethesda.

Easy to say but ride within your limits, when I first started riding downhill I fell off a lot.

At first I rode tracks like trail centres and went as fast as possible on the straights much to fast into a corner just about got away with it only to fall hard on the next. I now take it a bit slower into the bends and use more of the available grip for cornering rather than sloppy late braking on the front wheel.

Now I think more about carrying my speed through the corner keeping off the front brake and only using the back to slide a bit if required. I have found this has allowed me to get progressively faster while still leaving a small margin for error.
