Whilst a keen cyclist I am also firstly a dog walker . I always address my dog whether a cyclist is passing or not . We frequently converse though it does seem very one sided . My best mate when we’re out together everyone else apart from attractive runners/dog walkers is irrelevant .

Not all dogs will bark . Mine only does it to humor me . He barks once then looks at me . I’ve been home many times mid day and never heard a peep . My neighbours have also commented saying you wouldn’t know Bear was home all day .

Well my dog used to love it outside all day . I had a 6ft fence , he could come and go as he pleased . Depending on its temperament the dog will be fine . What’s not to like about sniffing round a garden all day . My dog is a malamute x and doesn’t care about nothing apart from killing the postman .

If your stressed with work then it’s time for a change . I started getting migraines at my old work place through stress . If its plush and not bottoming out and felt good make a note of the pressure in case you lose your “sweet spot”.

I made the epic mistake of trying to bed my brakes in on a long long fast decent . It was glaze o’clock . Half a dozen sharp stops is the way . Just go easy on the front brake !

I’ve carbon bits on my ‘dale and like everything black , but I don’t think most h/t riders want or need a dropper . I always thought of them as pointless unless your a downhill or jump rider

My ex gf started a new job and met someone similar and ran off with them . They got an apartment , his wife thought they were just having time apart , so i told her . Great thing facebook for wrecking people’s lives . He’s now separated can’t see his kids and paying lots of child support . My ex didn’t know he was still seeing his wife so they split up after a short time to . Yeah I love a bit of karma .

I was rolling down a hill on my cannondale with 2.3 tyres on and my mate on his charge cooker stopped peddling and I literally just pulled away . The resistance is quite massive . People who say they can keep with other riders on normal size wheels and tyre are clearly fitter than they think .

There is a local beauty spot near me that’s been ruined by groups of stonewashed denim wearing **** having drinks and burning a couple logs and throwing there rubbish everywhere . Penalty should be dunking in the water like witch hunting in the good old days .

Anybody here ever read a very small magazine called jalopy ? It was about the joys of buying and running second hand “older” cars . Was a very good read .

O know lock on grips are the trend , but personally I find them so thin and uncomfortable .
