Are you sure you can’t get it inside without removing the seat? I used to carry windsurfers inside my car by fully reclining the passenger seat – I also put it as far forwards as possible and removed the headrest so it would recline in front of the rear seats.

I’ll be taking a passenger, so not an option.
It’s a sit on, so quite aerodynamic. It will be going on the roof no matter what, just interested in how much it will affect things. It does make some odd howling noises at 70mph.

I was driving along a remote mountain road recently in thick mist, miles from anywhere and hadn’t seen another soul for ages.

I lived in a similar sounding house a couple of years ago.
We got a jack Russell terrier. They are awesome dogs, they will solve all your problems.

I foolishly joined in with playing golf a couple of years ago with a couple of work colleagues.
The worst injury I have ever had was playing **** golf, when I went to casually pick up a ball a mate had hit into the bushes next to me.
The ‘bushes’, were some kind of hybrid rigid pampas grass type affair which poked me deep into the eyeball as I bent down.
I was instantly blind and in agony for over a week.
I eventually regained my sight and reevaluated my life.

So the law is, you only need a TV licence if you watch live TV or use iplayer.
I don’t watch live TV and will no longer use iplayer, but I have a sky app installed on my TV enabling me to watch sky cinema and catch up etc.
Supposing Mr TV licensing inspector ever came around, how could they ever prove you were or weren’t watching live TV when you have the means to watch it (i.e. Internet connected devices) all over the house?

Is anyone else struggling to register on this?
I’ve downloaded the app, but the Pokemon site won’t let me register when I enter my email- it gives the message ‘(’email’, )’.
I’ve tried registering on a windows PC, iphone and ipad, but keep getting the same message.
Any handy hints to get past this and get my young’un started?

It depends how she was caught.
If it was a camera, then yes, challenge it as it can’t be enforced.
If she was pulled over and spoken to, the NIP can be given verbally so the 14 days wouldn’t apply.
This happened to me, and it was nearly 6 months before I received the fine.

Incidentally, they then proceeded to bill me 3 times for the same offence, so don’t always assume they know what they’re doing.

I’m not defending it, but there is a reclaimed tent + camping equipment sale on 23rd July, with proceeds going to charity- so at least some of it isn’t going to landfill.
