I genuinely recommend Aquabats on Sunday mornings.

Superstar do valves for £7 (pair), and tape for £7. Get some stans fluid too.

I do mine with a regular track pump, and never bothered with washing up liquid.
It’s easier than you think- but apparently some tyres work better than others.

I also once found a phone in a pub left on a seat as I sat down.
I phoned a couple of numbers from the phonebook, who got in touch with the owner- who came and met us and bought us a round of drinks!

Goddammit- it looks like there’ll be no nudey pics tonight. :(

Get it unlocked asap and check for any sexting/nude pictures on there.

And then post them on here.

What’s the difference between Margaret Thatcher and Michael Jackson?

    Margaret Thatcher didn’t like miners.

You should have gone all Vinnie Jones on her ass.
This is what I normally do after any mild car park dispute.

I suppose it depends on your schedule.
I finish work early in the morning, when I usually go for a run before breakfast.
Breakfast after morning commute/run = win.

Do you have any XTRs you can cut in half?

I’d like to see how they differ.

I think you just have to accept that BB bearings will periodically need replacing.
I’ve never had more than 6 months out of a Raceface external, but after a year of using Hope it is still smooth.
I also went back to a square taper UN55 on my SS, but as my 2nd one since January is now creaking(!)- I will probably revert to HT2.

Also, lets assume that if your neighbours were in their 60’s in the early 80’s then they are more than likely both dead

    Pee on their graves!

Did you pee on their graves?

Most of the above, also :

    Alan Car
    Nick Hewer
    The old pope
    Chris Evans
    The queen

And you only charged him a tenner? 8O

I took a detour through there this morning.
The trails are fine- little patches of ice in the shade, but nothing much to worry about.
The snow has mostly all gone too.

The snow at Nant yr arian has mostly all gone- just bits on high ground.

I suspect Cadair will still be covered, but it will be crawling with walkers anyway so I wouldn’t bother.

Just write the time on your wrist with a marker. If it rubs off, simply write it again.

    Sounds like a win.

The 2.5mm bar Seiko also sounds good, but I would be gutted to wreck a £1600 watch…
My dad gave me an Omega a few years ago, but sadly that was destroyed far too easily too.
I think I’ll probably go G-shock. However- I have dropped/smashed/drowned/broken watches at the pin AND the ‘fasten/link’ bit. Is there anything else that anyone would recommend?

I’ve broken animal watches and watch straps too.
I find the ‘pin’ bit always comes out, and then once that happens it is a regular occurrence.

Next time you see his Landy parked up, cut his brake lines.
    Problem solved!

Horizontal sleet as well as ridiculous wind this morning.
You know it’s bad when you have to pedal hard downhill just to keep moving.

They should also make a square taper BB.

Butter smeared on damp logs will get it going.
Also, try popping a shoe in- they burn like f***.

Never use petrol in a stove though. I did that, once.

Ready Brek because it’s fortified with B vitamins, but mostly because it turns my pee green.

I’m in Mid Wales- about 1.5 hours away- probably a bit far.
Not massively interested in ‘amusing company’, but beer and negotiable extras (as well as petrol money) are tempting!

Also bye bye in terms of the deforestation and development ruining the ‘feel’ of the place.

Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heroes is well worth a look too.
Flying around Gotham City as Superman is so much fun…

I used to drink loads of coffee, but gave it up (all caffeine) about a year ago.
The headaches only lasted a couple of weeks, and the cravings a few months.
After that you can look forward to better sleep, feeling alert in the mornings(!), less irritability, better concentration, lower blood pressure and more energy throughout the day.

If the pain has subsided, why not go for a pootle on the road and see how it feels?
