I struggled to get my on one rims to seal.
I eventually got them to go up using tape and a strip of window insulation foam to make a groove for the tyre to sit in.
Even with this and 4 scoops of stands in each wheel, I found they would still leak and be flat within 48 hours.
Can’t be arsed with the hassle now so gone back to tubes until I get some carbon rims.

There were no signs, which was why I wondering if there was an unwritten rule everyone but me knows about.

Not sure what bits you need, but is the Aldi one still for sale and how much is/was it?
I was about to start a ‘which compressor’ thread, as I’m wanting one for tubeless inflating duties so don’t need anything too heavy duty.

Yeah great, get a husqvarna as everyone suggests.
Or, if you only want it for garden use get an electric one for 1/4 of the price and much less hassle.

    +1 for the Fatty Trail

It’s the only bike I’ve ridden for the past 3 weeks, and loving it.

I was there a couple of days ago, and it is closed from the outward stretch towards mask of zorro, including the leg burner climb.
The sign says it’s supposed to repen in Mid March, so shouldn’t be too much longer.
There are still plenty of other trails up there.

I went for the medium eventually, and glad I did.
The bigger circumference of the wheels makes it feel bigger than it is.
It’s taken a few outings to get used to it, but it now feels as chuckable and capable on the downs as the bouncy bike.

Definitely more to do at CYB for kids.
NyA is good, but some trails are closed at the moment.

I ran my old T4 up to 290k before sudden catastrophic head gasket failure sent it to the scrappies in the sky.

They might not have even noticed if they were old?
A similar thing happened to me earlier where an ‘old biddy dear was trying to park in the space in front of me, whilst I was parked and on the phone.
She drove in forwards and I heard a scraping as she was failing to get in at the right angle- so I beeped to get her attention and told her to move back- but she could barely see over the steering wheel, and just completely ignored me, like I was being unreasonable by asking her not to continue slow motion crashing into my car!

She didn’t stop, and put a nice scratch in my bumper.
I tried talking to her, but she was just muttering to herself and wouldn’t open her window and wouldn’t get out.

This is why old people shouldn’t be allowed to drive.

Can someone offer sizing advice on a Fatty Trail please?

I’m 6’0 tall with monkey arms and a 34″ inside leg.
    I can’t decide between the M (18″) or the L (20″).
I also ride an L (18.5″) Heckler which I like the fit of if that makes any difference.

    DHL are my idiots today.
I have a secure porch, and despite me specifying ‘leave it in the porch’, I have been left 3 notes on 3 consecutive days saying they couldn’t deliver as I wasn’t in.
They now want me to pick it up from their nearest sorting office 65 miles away! 👿

Generally once a year (except twice this year ).

It keeps things fresh and motivates me to get out and use it.
I do have a one in one out policy though.

£2k seems like an astronomical sum to me too.
I did mine for less than a few hundred £ all in a few years ago- and it isn’t too difficult, and is immensely satisfying to do yourself.
And yes, of course it will help with condensation.
I only wish I could install one in my new flat- which u can’t… 🙁

    Plural of Lego = blocks?
It’s “LEGO bricks” officially, or just “LEGO.” (“Legos” isn’t just the Brits getting pissy about language, it’s officially incorrect according to the Lego Corp itself.)

Ripping people off is one thing, but NEVER use incorrect grammar on STW!

Stayed clean through January, February has meant 2 nights getting pissed.
This is the best I’ve done for about 16 years, so I’m quite pleased with myself.
I felt crap when I started drinking again, and was **** for the whole next day.
    I intend to continue it.
