Given the fact its such a tiny amount and if it is the Tourmalet stage he didn’t exactly have any advantage over Shleck, unless proven otherwise I think it could be a genuine case of contamination of some kind. Would be a real shame if its not.

The uni club I go walking with won’t let you on a walk without an emergency contact number. The uni is given a copy of this, one is left on the bus and the walk leader has one as well.

The answer is actually sticking to prison sentences. Life should mean life, and if you’ve taken more than one life, or you’ve done really horrible things then make the life in prison harder by removing some of the “comforts” in prison, or solitary.

To make room for the people that’ll be in prison for longer give people that aren’t a threat to themselves or the public and haven’t already re-offended, community service and re-habilitation.

Student..back to 9-5 (or 9-6) labs and lectures for 11 weeks starting monday so likely to be on here a bit less 😛

lunch? having had 2 waffles and copious amounts of jaffa cakes for breakfast not that long ago…I’m have a cup of tea for lunch!

we’ve just started with virgin. £50 a month between 5 of us for 50 meg broadband (wanted enough so that we can all use it at the same time) unlimited weekend / evening phone calls and a reasonable tv package (including sky 1 etc). Obviously this package might be a bit expensive, but you probably dont want everything we’ve got…might be worth looking in to their packages as i know they do some good cheap ones too

Yes it is a pain, although once the shifter is fitted if your brakes have the easy fitting thing you don’t need to take it all off just to move your shifters to the other side because you can loosen the shifter to move it and take the brake off to move that 😉

If its to be scrapped drill / chisel a hole or remove the pipe altogether. If you drill a hole you can control the size and therefore the flow (just make sure you have enough buckets and containers!)

Get a few paragraphs in a cut down on what's included if possible (especially if your wife is overqualified there may be some things you don't need to mention but without seeing it and knowing the role it's difficult to say)

I don't follow them back if it looks like just marketing thing. I think a lot of companies will follow loads of people, and even if just a small percentage follow them back (or even look at their page) they're getting seen by people.

having just played with that I've come to the conclusion that the only thing I'd change without not liking the way it looks is the hub!

I turn mine off overnight, and with my obsessive e-mail / facebook checking etc I normally get 2 or 3 days before I have to charge it.

The only time battery life has been a problem is when I go camping, but even then it doesn't bother me that much. I just leave it turned off most of the time as I have better things to do when I'm out and about anyway 😛

Slight hijack but is the Ipod touch just an Iphone without the phone bit? I was told it was but don't really know (hence the question)

the iPod touch is a bit of a slimmer design but yes they are the same, 'cept the iPod doesn't connect to the mobile network so no texts, calls or internet except in wi-fi areas.

My 3G works well enough for me, I don't like the fact I can't bluetooth files to no iPhone users (i.e. can only use apps likes bump), don't know if I'll stick with iPhone when my contract runs out, but I certainly like it 🙂

If you write the truth (as long as you're not putting yourself down too much) it'll probably stand out amongst the usual rubbish people write!

I'm normally a supporter of the don't claim corner but in your situation I would. Thats a heck of a weight, and if its caused you concussion which, even if it isn't going to totally prevent you from working, will effect your productivity. Not to mention the broken glasses.

Make a claim if you can imo.

Big difference between riding with mates (or on your own) for hours at the weekend and riding 4 hours at race pace.

I haven't done a 4 hour race but I know people that have done that (and longer!) so my advice is…
1) Good hearty breakfast
2) Alternate between water and energy drink if you use it
3) Keep munching throughout if you can (but don't overdo it!)
4) Pace yourself, best to finish with a slow time than not finish at all!
5) Have fun 😀
