Thanks Toppers, 3year guarantee as well – nice touch. Got a 24-105 already to sit on it.

I also quite liked the look of this Panny as well though obviously that’s not cheap

Who wrote that John Lewis ad!?

But that’s not all: this compartment also employs two flashing LED lights that mimic the sun

And its not just fruit and vegetables that are cared for in this Panasonic fridge-freezer!

the exterior of the Panasonic NR-B32FW2-WB fridge-freezer embodies the impressiveness of the technology within.

I’ve always thought that too – gyms are poor substitutes for building strength to doing useful stuff like digging up a tree stump or carrying a baby elephant.

Great, good to see some eBay algorithms or something are doing their job – it was an established seller listing a suspiciously mahoosive amount of top end bikes and other stuff.

Makes for a dull thread now though.

If that was a blue light on top, then I’d be aroused. Orange though just doesn’t do it for me.

Food. Food. Food. Lots of it, regularly. Good stuff – lean proteins (mix them up, fish/white meats/pulses & a spot of red meat), non-refined foods (wholegrain)…

Personally I do not trust protein shake stuff, but that’s a thread in itself & personal choice.

As a child, I honestly thought ‘sugar free’ meant they weren’t charging you for that particular ingredient.

For some reason I instinctively avoid any packed sandwiches – I have images of disgruntled, poorly-paid employees going solo in the filling.

[Missing bearings oddly enough, both races were still in place from the grease! …but at a glance it all seems ok! Leaving test until forks & finishing kit arrive in a separate delivery.

Can’t wait to see how they’re packaged. Maybe in cling film & tin foil?

I’ve got an xperia arc; 14 months ago on voda – when I took it out i got 750mb, 300 mins & unlimited text for £17 a month. Cracking phone imo; if it’s still available I’d recommend.

    What’s up with me?

Nothing; it’s your bike. Blame the bike, and go out and spend some money on that frame/fork combo you’ve been secretly lusting after :-)

for what its worth, i rooted my desire HD, installed ice cold sandwich, and changed governor to ‘smartass v2’.

I have absolutely no idea what any of that means.

    I feel old.

Easy battery saver – intelligent saving mode really is pretty impressive; doubles life on my xperia.

It goes a bit screwy now and again and you have to manually switch network back on, but it’s only 1% of the time and easy to do once you know.

Also, recently on a last minute 400 mile trip after work (to pick up a new bike!) I was able to switch it into some kind of ultra power saving mode, and what was 10% of battery lasted another 7 hours in case of emergency, saving all but vital functions – which I was most impressed with.

Thanks Bri, but I don’t need 1400 lumen! Would probably make me quite unpopular too!

A few hundred would probably do me, I’m more looking for specific recommendations on models that mount well, decent build and have a good focal range.

I could very easily name the shop in question – it’s in Lancashire, near the sea, near Blackpool

A few years back I took my old spesh in to fix creaky cranks (it was an old bike, an ’04).

They ‘did the work’, I took it away.

Creak returned, I took it back and asked for new BB to be fitted.

I get a phone call saying all the threads on my crank arms had been stripped out while they tried to remove my crank arms and that was “just one of those things”.

I went to pick up bike, asked to speak to manager. While manager tries to re-iterate it was “one of those things”, a mechanic pipes up that it happened when I initially took bike in to have creak looked at first time.

So, they had given my bike back and had never told me they’d knackered what they tried to fix.

Got new BB & crank fitted, as a “offer of goodwill”.

Utter pish; dreadful sevice and a slimy attitude to customers, assuming that a 6 year old bike would just have it’s threads stripped was par for the course.

NOT what I call an LBS, definitely what I call a rip-off.
