As a Crown employee, publicly voicing views, concerns and criticisms of the Civil Service tramples over the principles and standards of behaviour that Civil Servants operate under.

You, sorry, your friend is a public servant, there to serve the public, who are here, reading information you are publishing referring to colleagues and the work of your employer in disparaging terms.

It’s also a direct contravention of Civil Service Code of Conduct/Standards of Behaviour and CS Management Guide, the former the basis of your employment contract.

    Reheating rice you say?

    Addressed!

I cook a mahoosive pan of brown rice every five days, bang it in the tupperware with a load of peas.

Just scoop out whenever required and mix with leftovers, tin’o’tuna, chicken etc – you can even ping it if you want it warm, or you can throw it in some soup (low salt!) to make it a more complete meal.

EDIT: Keep in Fridge, within an hour of cooking, only re-heat if you want to risk food poisoning

I’m guessing you haven’t worked in the CS very long? Genuinely friendly advice coming up…steer clear of discussing work issues on a public forum, even if you don’t name individuals or department.

I once rode around a corner on Dartmoor to be greeted by a buzzard sat on a fence post having a little stretch. Tip-to-tip the wingspan must have been pushing 5ft

Trying cycling around Harewood House (Leeds) and having a Red Kite swoop over you while being stared at by a nearby angry Stag! It is all rather beautiful to be fair, but good for constipation.

Emoticons to work on a posting–I have tried many times, but only get the “text” to appear

Avoid any punctuation either side? Like a full stop..

why are people happy to eat some parts of the animal but not others

Personally, I don’t fancy eating the parts that have been used to filter out toxins.

doesn’t matter that someone might be sitting at home wondering if their loved one has just died, if they can get a picture of a body then you’re damn well going to see it

Encouraging J Public to call in with their excitable live-witness reports also smacks of irresponsible sensationalizing of a tragedy.

    EDIT: Although that was BBC.

Oats, pan, skimmed, simmer while drinking tea. Forget about it, remember, add more milk & eventually consume. Sometimes using a bowl.

Thanks Richpips but the ‘smudge’ definitely is on the sensor as I can see it! I will give that article a proper read ta, but as it appears to be a 2003 article and I have a later 5D with an ‘apparently’ easily damaged sensor…..I’d rather not!
