The hatred for umbrellas is news to me. I always walk out with mine in the rain rather than – well – not.

For boys, a stormproof & tasteful golf umbrella is not just rain protection and a gentlemanly bit of attire, but can be whipped out from the boot to protect our other halves from frizzy hair and escort them to the entrance of Sainsbury’s or ‘spoons like they’re a film star.

They’re brilliant, and any Fulton is the answer.

Got it for the first time about 4 weeks ago,

Interesting in that if you are an old man (no offence!) it’s got my Dad eventually at nearly 80. It’s been a sod too, despite him being jabbed. And I know Amazon is evil blah blah but the ability to deliver strepsils and other making-life-easier supplies the same or next day to a person that lives 300 miles away from me, is incredible.

    It’s for pancakes

I, and any other of us brainless twits that makes oh-so-funny word puns, are currently taking a moment.

This is possibly the pinnacle of our profession – a perfectly executed word pun that made nobody laugh.

Blimey. You are pretty much spot on but I’m heading in the other direction from the A650 and towards the retail park – it’s my morning coffee walk route.

Drop me a msg if you’re near and we’ll grab a coffee.

The Longhorns this year are happy as usual:

Worth having a google of wine52 cancellation experiences – in the end I contacted my bank who put a merchant block on them.

After a dry run, 1 x £500 on nowhere near max. Very chuffed.

Thanks all for advice – I think I’m doomed to a full shower replacement though as the overhead shower head is fed by witchcraft, rather that a standard screw type thing.

This is the new one, which looks vaguely similar so I’ll just measure up and get spending – that’s rubbish really, literally a complete shower! https://www.plumb2u.com/PBSCProduct.asp?ItmID=22648953

It’s never been acceptable to smoke in the vicinity of anyone else, which half self-aware smokers know. Nobody with half a brain sparks up next to a family enjoying their food, or anyone in their vicinity.

A Rule No 1 campaign would have been a better idea, but I can’t think of one of them that’s worked since drink driving.

    Edit: I’m not a smoker :)

Lifestyle rewards page of the discounts thing is broken. No idea if related to the upgrade.

I remember flatmate at uni putting sandwich spread on cheese on toast before grilling it.  Not only did it look like sick, it actually had that acidic aroma of fresh chunder too.

    Pfft.

    Burger Toast.

Used mine today and it’s cured fine. Apologies for not pointing out the date thing in OP, I didn’t realise.

Still, a quid delivered by parcelforce 24!

Well it didn’t come to anything but I’ve just spotted quite a few and a load of standard ants running around. I’m getting nervous.

I’ve just done that – offer of £3.99 a month at the moment instead of £6.99 for anyone interested (online – wasn’t available through the Roku app)

Pro-tip on the tinned mackerel front – Lidl do a flipping delicious spicy tomato based one, which you obviously drain most of away – but is not using oil like other supermarket variants of spicy tomato mackerel.

Yes it’s got a bit of sugar and salt in, but if you’re at the point of eating mackerel as a treat then I take it that’s okay.

Or you can eat vegan powder, which unfortunately sounds like a cremated millennial.

I’ve never been one for one artist albums, but this one I bought and still have  – used to imagine myself driving about in a grey sierra cossie listening to no good (start the dance) for some reason – think it was on my Walkman when I saw one shoot past a ring road in Torquay. I was probably about 16 in my defence, but it was peak everything in my mind and I’d still settle for that now.

While that is down we are going to take the site.. copy everything

You don’t have to copy the crap I’ve posted, if that helps.

    Good luck!

Sure you aren’t reading last months? Mine says wait til tomorrow.

As far as I can make out, if you have the NS&I app (so the proper full beans one, not the prize checker one) and you have your preferences that any winnings are reinvested as bonds….

You can see an hour before midnight on the day before standard announcement day, in your transaction history, if you’ve ‘won’ anything.

    I can see now for example that I’ve got 2 x £50 pending, and it’s 23:35 on 1st July.

This also means I’ll still be going to work tomorrow.

    Hope that  helps.

Well this cluster of a thread has at least one positive in that it made me feel so sorry for Mark I stuck a couple of quid in towards the server thing.

I’m still pissed off at McDonald’s.
