The Chichester Challenge, mud uber slippy chalk and more mud, wisely chose the 30k rather than the 55k !

Take no notice of the kayak snobbery being bandied around, I bought a sot 4 years ago use it on the south coast and occasional river trip. Brilliant fun for exploring and just chilling out enjoying yourself, bit of fishing etc and the kids love it.

maybe riding a bit faster (dry tracks everywhere helps) and appreciate 5 is a noisy bike downhill but this really does feel like tyre has come off the rim completely and its stop get off and check tyre bad ! I do not understand as it is still plush at lower speeds and everything is lubed and play free. think lbs could be the answer, maybe mental block on my part, wouldnt be the 1st time 😳

never used cycle specific gloves, moto x gloves bought cheaply off ebay last for ages. any decent make such as alpinestars, thor, progrip etc will do the job.

dont discount the good old transit, had 3 never let me down, good solid vans as opposed to overpriced unreliable “surfer buses”

Dont know for sure but i think you would struggle to bend it after all what you are doing is just holding everything together, which is normally done by a puny little qr. The reason everybody isnt using them could be weight and possibly not bling enough !

Had a 06 stumpjumper (with rp23) now have new 5 with boost valve shock, difference is unbelievable, much plusher and more controllable. cannot say how much is due to the different setup, linkage (or lack of) wise but far better and its not cos the shock on the stumpy was knackered as it was the same from new.
