That has the same, carbon & fully integrated, frame as the £8.5k range topper?

910 is hmf front and alloy rear.
RC is HMX front and rear.
Having had the previous generation 900 tuned, 910 and 930, all built with the same forks, shock wheels cranks etc, the full hmx bike is significantly better.

    911 vs 944 I suppose ;)

Looks like they’ve combined the current genius/spark setup with the Bold VPP bottom bracket pivot but the open rear triangle needs tying together so used the same idea as felt but without the silly igus bushes that wear out the dog bone.

Perhaps negotiations with the Ethiopians on the mega hydroelectric damn have failed and they’re hoping they’ll be able to switch the pyramid back on and be energy independent?
Risk of bringing aliens back though I suppose.

Nike have a 1 or maybe 2 year warranty based on the production date on the tongue lable.

I have not purchased any of my last 5 pairs of Nike. They wear out (typically where the big toe flexes), I take them to the McArthur Glenn Nike outlet and swap them for something else. Canada though, YMMV

     Sometimes with receipt, sometimes without.

Yes. We are mid renovation though so deferring buying largeish things that well have to move and store.

I’ve been sat on the same chair for a couple of years and a stokke trip Trapp before that once the kids outgrew it.

Been making do until the project is finished.

Whatever your last phone was that you stashed in the drawer when you got your latest?

Just about to update my 13yos pixel3 to my wife’s ‘old’ pixel4a. 12yo is on a 4a that I picked up used off here. Hadn’t upgraded my phone when he was due a more reliable phone than the  moto g3 they both stated with.

Keep in your own ecosystem and as above, family link or apples equivalent.

Family link will let you shut down everything and anything..put it on a schedule, limit screen and app time, have you approve any apps, locate your kid, etc etc

It’s very good but my kids do resent me when I drop the banhammer when they push the limits or are typical Wally’s.

I assume you’re only looking for one to facilitate beading a tubeless tire?

If so, like Nick above, a blow gun is the best thing. Remove the valve core and trigger the largely unrestricted air in through the valve.

I use a mega cheap plastic one with the metal end snapped off and it’s brilliant. The snapped off metal end is the same diameter as the end of a presta valve stem so fits perfectly.

You don’t even loose much pressure in the time it takes to put the core back in if you use your thumb as a temporary plug then go back to the pressure you want with a track pump.

I’ve a rust red Linkin 150 custom from component swaps.

Lovely looking bike and has been on my wish list since the original bikes launched so a huge bonus when my 2023 genius st was delayed and I had an excuse to get the bold.

It rides great, descends superbly but weighs notably more than my previous generation genius tuned even without

A bit of play in the tracloc cable ferrules perhaps in part due to the 0.8mm inners and skinny outer means it’s hard to dial in full lockout and I’ve pulled the rear shock more than I’d like.

    Have fun though!

Code requirement in some US states.

They’re typically smooth walled copper pipe with a copper supply wrapped around the outside pre heating the water that goes back to the water heater.

I’m unsure where there’s a resulting increase in blocked drains though as the waste water doesn’t run through or over any coils.

good lord.. they refunded the frame but kept the 20 quid postage.. presumably as they shipped a brake separately with evri that would otherwise have been free shipping..
This PSA hasn’t worked out for me sadly

isn’t there an alogrithm that ranks videos over 10 minutes higher?
Unfortunate really as there’s some absolute dribble out there now where the useful info could be condensed into a couple of watchable minutes, but sadly, they just drone on.. bit like the megasack vids I suppose ;)

My rimpact went baggy and I could hear it bouncing around inside the tyre.
I tried shortening it with the finest Wakol contact adhesive and the noise vanished for a while, but I guess the sealant broke down the adhesive and it fell apart again.
I probably should’ve added some mechanical backup or used some chemical based glue.

I bought and paid for one and had shipping notification.
its showing as shipped on the 6th, but zero tracking info available when following the links
We have no tracks for your parcel yet. The status of your parcel will be updated in due course.”?

Does this mean its not likely to show up?

Would be annoying as I’ve also purchased a rear brake and a headset in readiness.

    Kids deserve good bikes

    Absolutely!

the fork was superb before a hot stint in a black van on a 30+ day. It’ll still be great if I can fix it.
I don’t think there’s anything better though to be fair in 26 that’s as light and stiff as the Durin. But yes, having a  working fork is more important.

Unfortunately nothing there, but thanks for the suggestion.
Normally I’d not be shy about taking the damper apart but the Albert SL is mechanically/crimp fixed so theres no bolts holding it together and would need to be cut open like a can of beans.
Last resort would likely be drilling a relief hole into the top of it to bypass the shim stack.. but I also don’t know what it looks like inside as damper assembly diagrams don’t seem to exist like for fox etc

Did warnerbros/UCI update how North American viewers (norcos larger market) can watch the 2024 racing yet?

I don’t see Norco having the budget for this even if they could justify it with confirmed accessible race coverage.
I was expecting Norco as one of the more likely big brands to fail too, so minnaar level budget?
Of course there could be other factors that go into a contract short of typical “rider = exposure” that make this viable both ways.

Open box maybe, ex display no. That’s an awful lot of “on time” at maximum brightness you’re getting.

Seatpost only. I’ll happily clamp by the Kashima sanction of my transfer without even a rag.

New build and I have all sizes of straight alloy posts to insert into the frame before I get to the dropper post.

I had a 3rd party disassemble the rear triangle from a fairly heavy alloy frame before shipping, you guessed it, dents in the top tube where he clamped it.

Canada, discovery+ subscriber, does not have any cycling content here.

Gcn+ was the only way to watch the dh/xcc/xco and as a bonus the u23 racing for the athlete I support.

    Now what?

never heard of it either, but then some people 3d print an entire master cylinder dust shield cover for another problem that much of pinkbike suggests doesn’t exist.

People who entered the sport during COVID and paid more than new for a used bike will expect to get more than their bike is now worth that the supply chain is saturated and manufacturers are clearing out their liabilities.

I wouldn’t even bother looking at a used bike at them moment as there will continue to be crazy new bike discounts as the financial squeeze gets tighter and tighter and stock needs offloading.

Plenty of racers reached for maxxis severes at Mont St Anne this year. It is by their definition a dedicated mud tyre

I’d suggested the racer who’s tires I mounted ran severe rear, ardent race up front as the severe (most mud tires generally) aren’t much good on rocks/roots.whichbwas a.big part of that course. She survived with severe fr/rr

Blocks on the severes didn’t seem much taller than a rocket Ron though

Vp push compact if you can find them.
I think they had a name change, but nylon with in-molded metal pins that are the perfect amount of grip as far as I could tell.
Sdg Slater’s are great if you swap the pins for something narrower. They’re too big and flat to be effective even with 5:10s

Are we expecting the 2022 mega frames to get reduced like the 2020 mega frames?

That’s the benchmark for me now.

Matt, if your eldest is already targetting hitting the trails in this video, you’ll need a major pre trip sit down to make sure he really does understand the risk.

Some of these trails are indeed on the map and easily accessible but represent the biggest producers of serious injury in squamish.

Remy is from a different planet, it’s unreal.

    gave to sibling

    As in a gift?

There are allowances for the value of birthday gifts, annual allowances to childred, grand children, wedding gifts etc.

If you need 10k for a car, it’ll take you 3.3 years of allowable gifts if you wish to avoid tax legally.

I was always a weight weenie and ran light tires on every bike to make pedalling as easy as possible and win the scale wars.

I started to see the light and recognised that the tires were definately a limiting factor.
<p style=”text-align: left;”>However, if I want to feel like I’m half fit and still try to go downhill fast, I’ll grab my Spark. It has your friends mk3 tire out back, but I paired it with a Baron up front. The front tire makes less difference to the speed/effort than the rear but it’s nice to have a more confident front tire that goes where you want it to with significantly more grip in all directions than the 2.3 mk3</p>
I’d actually equally happily pair the Baron with a cross king rear (still with tubolite sl insert)
<p style=”text-align: left;”>Summary, bigger front tire for the confidence, same or similar “fast”  rear if she likes it but step up to the black chilli compound as the white logo o.e product isn’t great.</p>
