    @peanutcracknell.

It’s what the internet says works best from other users. I think the servo wave gives more fluid for a given amount of pull.

I’ve got the shigura setup on my old ebike and it’s been working fine for a few years now.

You need servo wave levers and the Shimano sized olive and barb to fit the levers.

I use Shimano mineral oil in mine and all is trouble free.

As a retired mechanic I would not worry about it.

300 miles on a motorway in a wet and windy country is extremely unlikely to get anything very hot.

32kg is the limit that the baggage handlers are supposed to carry.

So as suggested it might be worth upping your flight choice.

I have fitted a digital gauge to my rockshock pump and it works fine.

About £8 from eBay. Slightly different thread, but a bit of PTFE tape sorted it.

I’m in the market for a new motor after writing off my Leon estate last Friday.

Thinking of a cupra formentor but never been in one to see if a bike will fit ok.

Currently got an MG SUV as a hire car. It takes a bike easily, but that’s the only good thing about it as it’s totally awful to drive on country roads. Infact it’s embarrassing having it on the drive 😱

Hang them up on the trees along with the dog poo bags for a bit of variety 👍

Do you have to remove the cranks?.

On my Bosch motor I put it upside down. Undo six bolts and just lift it up a bit. Leaving everything connected if all your doing is a cable or pipe change. If it needs to come out then the electric connectors just pull out and cannot go in the wrong place.

I doubt the yam motor is that much different.

Not the same but I’ve just had a straight Combi swap using a Bosch 4 series boiler and it was 2,1k with Boxt. That included everything, flue, mag filter, etc and took a day to complete.

I took my ebike on the uplift 😱
After previous visits I was too goosed to enjoy the descends later on in the day as it’s a fair climb to the top.

I have just bought a 1oz gold Britannia coin with the kings head on it in a blister pack. I intend to buy a few more.
It’s a long term investment to be handed down and hopefully the taxman won’t get to know about it.

Samoens is quite nice and ticks all your boxes. Mont blanc can be seen from the top ski lift, but no idea how far away it is.

Travelodge is ok. Clean and basic with an attached pub.

Under the glass there should be some drain holes in the frame. This allows any water to get out and drip onto the cill where the frame is sitting on. That’s how they are designed so the glass doesn’t have to be a watertight seal to the outside world. A decorators scraper was the go to tool for removing beads when I was working with a window fitter.

Stif in summerbridge near Harrogate. I think the appointment only bit is for repairs and rental but I’d check first anyway.

    Seat Leon estate?

My 2.0 diesel is mega on fuel, quite nippy especially the way I hammer it and only £20 a year road tax👍

It takes two ebikes and all the gubbins in the back.

As a 69 year old, tell pissy pants to be greatfull he is getting a lift 🤣

Possibly tempting fate here but my 2.0 diesel Leon is 10 years old and it’s never had a cam belt fitted in the 8 year’s that I’ve owned it.

Although with good intentions, I purchased a belt kit and waterpump some 4 years ago. Just never got round to fitting it.😱

    Don’t ever buy a car from a mechanic 🤣

Fast setting cement will let you do the job quicker. But it won’t be up to full strength for a day or so.

Oko for me. Used it now for a few years without any issues. Water it down about 30% and stick some vaseline on the valve.

After owning a black van I wouldn’t have another one. Constantly polishing and waxing it, whereas my grey car seems to stay clean a lot longer and it’s only when it gets washed that I realise just how dirty it is.

I cancelled through WhatsApp and I’m glad I did as the clown I was speaking to totally ignored my cancellation request and I got changed for another month.

Thankfully it was all recorded on WhatsApp. Still reckon I got financially shafted though!

X01 on my ebike. Cheap chains lasted @ 400 miles, whereas the X01 lasted 3k and is still under the wear limit. It’s not exactly happy on the steel deore cassette at the high and low ends. It grumbles a bit but it works and doesn’t slip.

If anyone wants to convert their old analogue rock shock pump then the cheap 1/8th thread eBay digital gauges fit ok. They are a different thread pitch but it’s only 27 tpi against 26 tpi so I just used a bit of ptfe tape.

Fitted moduleo layred lvt about a year ago. It was highly recommended by a carpet fitter that I used to work for. Underlay is integral and no need to do anything to the floor unless it’s obviously miles out. Also hardly any expansion so it can be fitted within a couple of mm from the skirtings and clear siliconed.

I think the coniston loop is one of the best rides I have done in the lakes.

This thread is costing me a fortune 🤣

For some reason I have just bought eight quick links to go with the pedals, shoes, jacket and loads of stuff still in the packaging 🤔

Or just fit an X01 chain and spray it with gt85 after every ride and get your life back 👍

Don’t worry Kayak23. I’ve been a member/ non member since before the big crash 20 odd years ago and I still can’t use this bloody antiquated forum.

    It’s certainly not luddite friendly!

Cannibal front and hillbilly rear for me both on T9 gravity casing.

Basically went with the spesh shops recommendations

Only done one 15 mile trail centre on the above combination but well happy so far.

I have also used the old one and the t9 hillbilly on the front and have been very happy with them.

Just to add my concrete floor was sat on 100mm Kingspan and some sand on top of that.

Wet is the better option if it’s possible.

Had it on a concrete floor in the conservatory and it was expensive and not really any good even on proper recommend underlay
