I think under the circumstances the only possible reason to stay would be if they were your kids. Take some solace in the fact that whilst you may well care for or love her kids, they are her kids. Personaly I would walk away immediately but I wouldnt press charges. Whilst it may be morally right in some peoples view,it will just prolong the separation and probably impact the kids more. Wish her luck and move on so to speak. Keep your chin up and love yourself a little.

If weight isnt too much of an issue and it’s only going to be transported in the car then try to stretch to an Outwell. Had a couple of Colemans & Vangos but last year bought an Outwell with metal frame and sewn in goundsheet. Much better quality and design and worth the extra imho.

Stihl for climbing saws, husky for groundwork. i could kill a stihl on the ground in a year, huskys are tougher

If i was a guinea pig for an overpriced cr@p product that cost a fortune and went wrong, i would not feel awkward about being a pain had i been waiting 2 weeks.

Some of the cheap fsa ones are badly sealed, had one rust out on my gf bike in 6 months, pitted the cups. I use a king so ide say get one but cane creek 110, 40 quid i think still from crc is very good. got one for 30 at the sale for her bike..

Sorry i should have clarified, even at 40 psi if i got off the ground at speed the rear would pinch, I ended up pumping them up so hard (60psi) to stop it… obviously the back end was bouncing off everything at that pressure…

Northwind, I wasnt running inappropriate pressures at all, ran them between 30 to 60 psi didnt matter what i did, im on a chameleon which is pretty stiff at the back though..

They are generally pretty good, ive called in before to pick stuff up, their customer service/email response is a bit patchy though. Ide cancel the order and call windwave who are nextdoor and should have the spares anyway

i was right on the line between a large and medium, to me the large felt quite a different bike. for your size i would have gone with a large and a long post..with an offset post if you need it.

Im 5′ 11″ on one of the last pre ebb chams in white, its a medium with a 70mm stem, 140mm revs… never ridden a bike i felt more sat in and part of, felt telepathic from the first ride… a definate keeper…climbs like a goat and decends like its on steroids. I cant imagine a better ride (for me) were you sized ok for the XL ?

Been a member of the Vert church for a long time, on about my 5th or 6th pair, i have tried other tyres (high rollers, nevegals, michelins, nics, etc) as much as i try to leave they end up back on the bike.. nobby nics grippier than verts? thats not my experience of them at all…. buy some black chilli verts..

had xmc 130s and revs, anyone who says theres a night and day difference is talking tosh… i actually preferred the damping on revs over fast small bumps if set up properly, the dts are nice though, i paid 400 in a sale but i prefer revs for ease of servicing and simplicity, are they good…yeah….do they justify the cost..i dont think so..

the fact that it marks a bit doesnt bother me, i just wondered if it was indicative of the posts being made with worse quality materials than before.. i pay the extra in the hope it wont snap or fail on me..

Got a black one for 29 quid on the private sale, looks nice, anodising doesnt look as nice as my king but still for 29 quid it looks like cracking value (going on the gf bike) mine just came with 1 small locking spacer that sits on top….

could do a flat out 30 mph stoppie on a 185mm front disc on an a/m hardtail, put a 203 on it and whilst power increased, control and modulation suffered. back on a 185…you gotta find the right size for your speed/weight/style…

so a 20 odd quid bb lasts you 1 year and you’ve considered spending 145 quid replacing it… if your not riding too hard go buy some flexy sq tapers and ride em..

by the time hope had made a bb superior to the early shimano ones, shimano had already made ones just as good if not better…
