I run UST rims and tyres without latex and never had a puncture since. Not worth the hassle of rim tape and latex IMHO. The son-in-law runs Specialized tubeless ready and the latex was bubbling through the tyre sidewall !
FFS how is that ever going to stay up. It doesn’t BTW

    Yes, sadly
It will remove more of the surface across the grain, but you need to finish it off with the grain to avoid the scratch marks showing
No need to tell him though

Just get a Shimano PTFE coated inner cable and you’ll be fine

    Merlin have these for 11.99
I use them rear mech and either the old one (if its serviceable) or a std Shimano one for front mech

or how much your scales could be out?

fair point, unless we all get together to weigh them on the same scales at the same time, we’ll never know for sure. Life’s too short for that

Also, Hormann do a lot of super cool extras like a small human sized door inside your main garage door. These have a name but it’s one of those words I always forget.

    That would be ‘Wicket Door’

It fits OK round all the pivots and frame, it obscures the graphics a tiny bit on my 2012
I’ll get a pic of it on the bike if like
Tried it on but never riden with it if you want to buy it?
