Cheers spotted that trap, screen for £3, but nightmare to fit
    Screen/digitiser combo way to go
It’s old tech now so while I don’t want to fit a rubbish screen there’s no point spending more than I need to

I’d go Howdens, not the ‘best’ but plenty good enough. A poor plan/fitter will make an expensive kitchen look rubbish and the a good plan/fitter can make a cheaper kitchen look amazing
Ikea is good value stuff but the sizes are unique to them and can make life more difficult unless you go 100% Ikea

Check the small print, I think you can just walk away and pay nothing
Since you are basically only financing the depreciation on PCP you wont lose anything even though you walk away with nothing
I’m sure there is some quirk in car finance that allows this, at least I was told this by VW. Worth a look?

Awesome, but I thought everyone knew if you’re going to climb over a gate you should stand at the hinge end
What, me jealous. No I know my limitations, I couldn’t walk most of that

I know you’re working the other way round but FWIW we send stuff to the states regularly and the only couriers worth a dime are DHL or UPS.
    USPS are the worst!

Sink them low-profile into the top of the bench

That is for a woodwork vice, aren’t we assuming it’s an engineers vice?
Either way not much point bolting it to a 1″ timber bench 2″ minimum IMHO

Doesn’t matter whether the bearings rock or rotate it shouldn’t affect there life. As with most things you get what you pay for

Exactly what I have in mine
Running 4 wall lights 2 in 2 out and 2 fluorescent 4 x 2 gang and one external sockets on a ring
Terminating the SWA an the ends is the only problem I had as they aren’t designed for it. Sparky seemed happy enough to sign it off though

    Shock. Horror
I took a Domane 4.3 for test ride last night. I didn’t like it at all. Admittedly I haven’t owed a road bike for 30 years or so but it was like riding a waterbed, there was a swell after every bump, really awful. So much so that I took a Madone 3.5 out straight after. What a difference I totally get what RocketDog says about encouraging you out of the seat on climbs, it’s like a collie on a lead it wants to off. I liked it
Which makes colin27 shout brilliant. Double bonus I’ll be in the Lakes next weekend so white/lime green or black/charcoal

Not worth mixing yourself that’s for sure :-)
You wouldn’t get it consistent enough and you’d be hard pressed to mix it fast enough anyway in Belle
If you’re laying 6″ I don’t think you’ll need mesh but if you were going for 4″ put some in

From memory you need 18″ of concrete to form a waterproof barrier
The slab is bigger than the garage so it will wick in from the sides anyway to some extent. But I’d put a membrane in, it’s good practice and will stop the concrete draining into the hard-core when you pour it

four sets! I wouldn’t bother with a nailer just use pins, hammer & a punch. you can pre drill holes to stop fine pins bending. It’s easier to see where to hide pins in the profile without a big nail gun in the way

My Orange Five is creaking at the moment and because of the monocoque it’s very difficult to pin down where it’s coming from

I’ve had 3 or is it 4 Five’s now, they all creaked at BB. I thought it was a ‘feature’

I have a set of reamers if you want to eliminate it and are anywhere near Sussex

I’ve always had Collies as pets and for years I was involved in Border Collie Rescue
Here my view for what it’s worth
Collies make great pets by and large. Most dogs we rehomed were due to problem owners. Don’t get me wrong you do get rouge collies like any breeder or people come to that
You will never tire one out through exercise, but you don’t need to as long as they they need to be stimulated. If bored they are more likely to be a problem. I think you should be alright with 30mins and an hour. More would be better when you have time.
They need training, they have to know who is the boss. Any local dog class should be adequate. If the breed does agility there will be loads of help there
I wouldn’t recommend one, or any dog for that matter, to a home where people are out all day every day. But I worked shifts and found ours were OK left on their own one or two days a week
That is where having two is an advantage. The problem can be that they are more interested in each other than in listening to you. I would say get another later rather than have two puppies together
A collie is a great dog for kids providing they understand how to behave around each other. Collies have a natural herding (hunting) instinct that can be misinterpreted
You’ve had dogs before and you are buying from a reputable & knowledge breeder I think you’ll be fine
ps nothing smells like a puppy ?

Well I rode it this weekend, in a more sedate 2 days. Perfect trails and just enough cloud cover to stop you being baked alive.
No punctures, but I did manage to snap a chain!
