I think it was Oscar Wilde who once said “The only thing worse than being talked about is not being talked about.” Jezza in controversy shocker, just as his new DVD comes out…..

Wearing mine right now… I’m ex military, working with the military, training them before they go out to theatre. I’ve got friends out in theatre currently and I’ve had friends injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. The friend injured in the ‘stan lost both legs at the knee. His recovery and attitude is nothing short of incredible. I wear mine in honour of those that have sacrificed everything both past and present.

I lost my HTC Touch 3G during a house move and had it replaced with a HTC Hero. I was quite happy with that…

Avoid the Intempo RDI. I had one and it suffers from a known component problem. It died a bit out of warranty and they denied all knowledge of said problem and wouldn’t help me out. Now using a non Dab Klipsch which is very good.

I have an app on my phone for running called Micoach. It uses GPS to get you running at differing paces. The program tell you when to run faster etc. It uses a voice coaching system and by would you believe it you can have Victoria Pendleton as the coach…

Great thread! I’m nowhere near as fit as I should be and this sort of thread is inspirational. I was once told that summer races are won in winter. If only the winter was 25 degrees and light until ten….

I’m an ex crab who currently works with all branches of the UK military. Having seen how the Army operate I doubt they could the job any better given a limited budget, aircraft past their best and the volume of cargo on the air bridge.

Believe it or not the Crabs don’t actually cancel flights just for the fun of it or to inconvenience contractors. Just think it’s another days worth money tax free…..

It was my first Mayhem, The course was tough but why should it be easy? I had the pleasure of having to go first and the run wasn’t fun but the traffic would’ve been far worse on the first lap if it was shorter. The mud in places wasn’t fun to ride but there you go. The climbs were tough but I got a huge amount of satisfaction from beating them. The last downhill was a blast, yes it was rutted and grassy but it’s not like you’re riding around a trail center. Its a private estate, what can you do.

I’ll be back next year, fitter fast and with the same stupid grin on my face.

Thanks to all involved with organising. I had a great weekend!

Good- It’s not just me then. I’m sure there must be some reason for my apathy but I can’t work out what. It’s even getting to the point where I’m tempted to buy something new and shiney for the bike to make me gout out and ride therefore justifying the new part.

On the site where I work we had a woman who worked in the admin department. She was no looker to be honest but someone found pictures of her on a ‘specialist’ amature website. Several of her naked but the most popular one was one of her legs open showing her klopper. Going by the shaving rash she needed a new razor. She worked on the site for a couple of years after the pictures surfaced blissfully unaware.

Countzero- I can recommend Skunkworks. I read once that when Ben Rich (Skunkworks head man) was on his deathbed he said that they were working on aviation technology 50 years ahead of the time. He died in 1995. Have a look for a book called Dark Eagles as well.

I was in your position last week. Contract was up for renewal. Thought my Hero was an excellent phone and wanted a Desire. Orange offered a Wildfire or a Sony X10 mini. I phoned up asked for my PAC number, when asked why I explained and lo and behold I got a Desire. It’s an excellent phone by the way.

If you do go ahead with your build make sure when you ride it there is always someone following you filming your ride. Then when the wheel fails you can then send the tape to You’ve been framed and then spend the £250 on a v brake compatible wheel….
