I tried tubeless for the first time this week. Stans Crest rims with Schwalbe tires. Once I’d replaced the green Hope tape with yellow Stans tape it went pretty well. The only thing is it one of the tires leaks air in the sidewall? A quick shake of the tire seems to seal it. I have yet to get a ride in but I’ll be taking a spare tube with me…..

I remeber when 5th element brought their platform shock out and how it was a leap forward for suspension. Don’t see them about now. Oh and Foes- I know they still exist but you never see them now.

I was at the filming last week and the interview was a fair bit longer than that. It was also a fair bit bluer….

Got my first winter boots for Xmas. Previously used normal shoes and over boots. Won’t be using over shoes again…. They are well worth it imho.

Take some time off then. Leave the bike in the shed for a bit and don’t pressure yourself into riding if you don’t want to. Take the winter off and do something different. Then when summer comes, when the air is warm and the singletrack is dry and fast you may find you want to get out again.

My Sharan was the best bike car I ever owned. It was also good with two young kids and all the gumf that we had to cart around but that is all secondary…

I’d start moaning on Twitter. It seemed to get BT to listen to us when our LL was duff.

I’m guilty of posting an FS ad without a picture, but I did add a link to my Flickr. I would have added pictures but I couldn’t get them to appear in the ad, not sure why though. Whilst I’m here I’d like to ban lazy links…. If you can copy and paste a lazy link I’m pretty sure you can copy and paste the text from your old advert to the new one?

Friend of mine had similar with his. He picked up his at 60k, it was immaculate FSH etc. He had it a couple of weeks and the ECU died in spectacular fashion. Cost him a fortune to sort and he got shut of it.

I loved my ML7. It climbed like a goat in stickies. Would love to see them come back again but I don’t think it’ll happen….

Liability has been admitted to by the other driver and Admiral no less. All good points though, thanks for your input.

Three calls from Admiral this morning apparently, they are very keen for us to use their service and not involve our company.
