This place was awesome again last time we visited – lovely wine and food in a special clifftop location.

Skim reading just then you may be able to still get there after the closures – by a shuttle.

    Chromag Radar youth pedAls?

If you can get on shorelines web pages,
Think Jon had a 50% off the last of his chromag stock?

Circa £60 from CRC. Spendy for growing feet though!

Yep. Watching, but not as gripping as first two series.

I also like to binge watch. How have you guys who have watched them all done so?

    Yes. Common Sindpiper.

Second the Wirral. Thursaston, West Kirby or Hoylake!

Think the Viking (Simon Rimmer’s newish pub) welcomes pooches too!

    Yes to more sweaty northerners.

Agree David, but after seeing them in the flesh, they seem a real cut above in terms of finish and the levels of thought/design which has gone into them.

    And I’m a tight northerner :P

Perversely….I’d rather a 650b HT for my all round riding/messing about including with the youngest at the 4x track, then have a nice slack 29er HT like the Stage range.

Ahh. Ok. Just ordered a p7 which may explain cheapness. Had written off some b+ bikes anyway!

    There is a new P7?

Ready to pull the plug but was hoping (as I’ve mentioned on any of the Mason threads here) that Dom goes flat mount on the rear end of the resolution/definition. Not sure it needs a bolt thru like the bokeh, but my guess is the won’t do one without the other. Purely aesthetics I guess, and I want to keep it for a very long time.

I have cash waiting and nearly bought secondhand. By the time the change is made I guess I’ll have enough for a ti Aspect (ti version of the definition/Resolution, due next year)!!

Buzzard – would you say the definition is noticibly more sprightly than the Resolution?

Thanks to the guy at the top of Troutbeck who gave me cable ties to fix my hub!

No shakes. Glad you got back safe. Great work all! Maybe next year for me – was inspiring seeing you all pile back to Staveley later on.

    Lovely looking machine. Very nice!

I’m looking at a steel/possibly Ti bike to be my only drop handlebar bike. Something special that will last a loooooong time. I’m trying to future proof a little too. Holding off a Mason due to post mount disks for this reason. Any of the Reilly come with flat mount options?

If so. Loads better in the flesh. Gorgeous bike Sir!

P7 not arrived yet. Morf was lovely. Felt a bit like my old Chromag but waay longer/slacker. Chose the orange because they had a sale on and the P7 seemed as close as it could be number wise.

I’m 5’8″ and the Morf felt right in medium.

Ridden a mates. Felt right from the start. Looks a lot better in the flesh – the yellow version.

I went for a P7 as no Morf in stock. One on eBay for 374 at the moment in non standard colour and also nice black and orange one locally for £400. The latter brand spanking new, though the one on eBay looked that way.

My bud has had back issues in the past with hardtails. Had his 8 months or so and he rates the Morf highly. He’s a great rider too, and has lots of experience on a huge range of bikes.

True dat Binners – just ordered myself one!. There is quite a few deals on them at the moment… including a frame only on eBay in mountain mint for 374. I also know the dealer whereabouts of a black one, frame only for 400.

The Shan Oka is being discounted now too. That was a close second for me.

Had time on the morf but they sold out of medium in both colours.

If u fancy a ‘modern’ take on a comfortable HT steel frame…..

Check out Stif Morf. Very forgiving rear end.

Agreed. £1595 gbp for the Columbus spirit frame and carbon fork.

I have been speaking to Rouke though, that 1600 budget touches a custom 853 with fork. Extras soon add up with the Rouke and the wait too.

Mason or Curve available pretty much straight away (June for Curve).

    Any other alternatives?

    Cheers Antigee.

Got a swift reply to an email I sent. I think their only dealer in the UK is G!ro in Esher. I’m in the North West unfortunately. Not that it would help being local as buying blind will be the only option as its a limited run of 100! Just looking at numbers/specs etc now.

    Thanks for the reply.

I’ll be ordering a Mason soon. A special, keep forever or as long as possible bike. 99.5% sure I want the definition. My only worry is I purchase the definition and Dom changes the rear brake mount to flat mount – I’d be gutted. I have flat mount brifters sat around waiting to go on. I think it’s a bit odd at the moment with flat mount fork and post mount rear.

Bokeh is tempting, and maybe more versatile as I’ll be ditching the pro6 frame – which I’d recommend as a great do it all frame.

Factory fitted t5 ones used to be spot welded too – nothing that a whack with a cold chisel couldn’t sort. Just be careful near the seatbelts!

Cheers Both. Like the colour of the 2016 actually.

No data for frame only weight – be nice to compare it to other choices. Only, frame fork, headset, clamp on the web pages. I do plan to get a nice 29er wheelset in the future.

    Hmmm.

Re the price rise on the Morf – sounds like it could just be for complete bikes? Hope so.

Ta Aldo. Ignore my Pinkbike post! Except the compliments! Lush!

P7 looking tops really. My luck would mean I’d get stung with loads of charges.

OP – any idea how much the Morf is going up by?

Aldo – tell me more about the Chromag if you have a moment? Did you go direct? What was cost/duty etc? Cheers.

P7 probably gone top of my list too – especially if the Morf has gone up more than something negligible! Shame about stock colours though…

    Stif Morf?

Chromag wide angle (new geo model)? Shame no uk dealer now for frames. Probably out of budget because of this.

I’m looking for similar and the Morf and the P7 are on the top of my list at the moment if going 650b……

Not keen on the standard paint colours for frame only in the P7. £100 upcharge otherwise.

    Like the pace too.

PP OKA and Shan written off for pushfit BB and lack of stealth dropper routing. More the stealth dropper really.

I’d probably look at a 29er but have 650b bits sat around.

No worries with Zlatan blocking youth – people said the same of Cantona. He set a big example in the way he trained/being a top pro etc. Beckham in particular took that on. It sounds like he is having a similar impact in the dressing room and won’t be around for years. He was also a catalyst for success…..

Yes – outplayed but I’d half expected that – United away in Europe in the week and the saints having a fortnight prep. It was clear saints had far more energy. I’ve also lost count of United outplaying teams this season and coming away with a point. What goes around and all that.
