Sounds like it might be an old battery, mine is going the same way. Replacement batteries are quite cheap though.

Juicedefender from Play store is also worth a look. It turns off all radios when not needed so takes a bit longer to wake up but greatly improves battery life.

Task killers are no longer necessary since around Android 2.0

The atmosphere in that dressing room was incredible. Great to watch the two drivers racing but Vettel can’t expect any help from Webber now.

XT M770 are great normally but had a nightmare recently when riding in snow and ice. Just couldn’t get them to engage. Are any models better in snow? Maybe something with a platform would have been better.

Part 1 was the people of Scotland electing the SNP as the majority government. Part 2 happens on 18/09/2014. In the next 18 months the two sides of the campaign will hopefully provide all the details necessary to make an informed decision.

Yay, less spending on the military in an independent Scotland. Let’s call it ‘bread not bombs’.

Indeed, think of all the lovely cash a nuclear weapons base on the Thames would bring in.

I’d hope that relations would improve post-independence. With no political points to be scored and clearer boundaries we could have a proper grown-up agreement between two countries.

Fair points athgray but don’t you fancy trying to do things better than they are now? If the undemocratic house of lords had been abolished and proportional representation been brought in then I might be more likely to keep things as they are. As it is, Westminster is never going to modernise and will continue to drift further out of step with other forward looking nations and will never represent the views of the people who live in Scotland.

I won’t ever think of England as a foreign land, we do have a lot in common after all. Hadrians Wall will remain in ruins.

Yes from me also. I’ve read as much as I can from all sides of the debate and for me it’s the obvious choice.

Whichever way you vote make it an informed decision.

Good film but not a patch on the book. Concentrating too much on actors and characters moving through the times rather than the objects that linked stories eg letters, music, screenplay and religion.

Skype? How does that work? Ah, predictive text for Sky – you using a tablet?

Another Earth was good, mildly creepy throughout.

Another Earth? Never got that close though.

I was looking into them as a present for the GF but this review put me off – http://www.gutenberg.org/wiki/Gutenberg:Kindle_Fire_Review

Went for a Nook instead but I’m thinking about a Nexus 7 for myself.

I look forward to my commute because I do it by bike. I enjoy getting out into the hills even more.

Generation Kill, The Wire, Breaking Bad, The Walking Dead, Homeland all brilliant. 6 Feet Under worth a look but I didn’t enjoy Dexter so much.

Promising start and worth watching ’til the end but I reckon it lost the plot after the sickening violence.

Similar to Drive in the random violence stakes.

Lovefilm user for 6 years and have no complaints. Wouldn’t want to rely on the instant watch catalogue but blu-ray/dvd to home is great. Watched a film on the PS3 last night streamed and no buffering.

Yeah biker66, give On the Road a miss. Overlong and disjointed – but I don’t remember being a huge fan of the book either.

Great book and I’ve enjoyed most of his stuff, haven’t read his latest yet though. I saw Iain Banks being interviewed in the Edinburgh Book Festival last year and he said it was the book he most wishes he had written.

Looking forward to the film along with Life of Pi.

Cycle up the valley from Glenfinnan and show them the Harry Potter viaduct! You can go right up to the bothy which is a mile and a bit up.

Cheers Ian, thanks for the reply. I’ve done Innerleithen plenty of times so looking forward to investigating some of the non-trail centre trails.

    Bawbag, what’s that?

It’s a GW-M5600BC. Solar charge and radio sync so zero maintenance.

I was at the Edinburgh game as well. Just embarrassing. Watching their hooker chase down our scrum half and catch him summed it up.

Nothing middle aged about it, that’s the beauty.

It won’t touch the contents of your SD card plus I imagine all your email/contacts etc will be backed up in gmail anyway.

So is this an official ICS ROM from HTC? Might go and have a look.

I had the carbon exotic 29er fork on my Chameleon for winter commuting duties and they are great. They’re going on sale shortly due to a change of bike if you’re interested – £40.

GvSig has downloadable OS maps. I have only had a quick look at it though so can’t rate it.

I think that he is one of the best journalists around. He always provides detailed references for all his facts and has even published a list of all his interests [/url]in the name of transparency.

He is also willing to change his viewpoint depending on evidence as he has done regarding nuclear power.

Also fastboot needs to be switched off, at least on the method I used.
