I thought ceramic bearings where run dry!? I’ve seen my lbs using a thin liquid like an oil to re lube his ceramic wheel bearings once a season and even then it was only a few drops.

Single track had a review on the swiss one a couple of issues ago. If I remember they said it was pretty good. I’ve used ks supernatural ones both of which have had issues but to be fair to them I’m 18stone so I’m not sure if it’s bad luck or weight based other than that I would recommended them. Had issues with reverbs too. Same as you I prefere a 150 post and there pretty limited on who makes them I do wish fox would make one as the doss has been the most reliable to date. Good luck

Privee shan rider here long and low frame.
19inch seat tube wth a 25.4 inch tt.
I’d go for the long low set up run a shorter stem.
I’m 6.3 and am liking longer tt set ups these days makes it sable and quick reacting on the cornering
Also if your not going to run a dropper post to start with wiggle do a good post that comes in at 450mm in length and is cheep enough to start with.

I’ve got a morewood ndiza here 16inch seat tube etc 100 mm travel, would be happy at 100 or 120mm travel up front.
I would say it’s not to unlike a short travel orange five.
Might be of interest to you. Bit more than your looking though £300 posted but includeds a hope headset, seat clamp and a new seat post.

Tom, to short in the TT med/lrg are average and the XL is huge 635mm there’s not many frames coming in that long with a 19in seat tube

Gulf colour one here, as above not quick up hill or on the flats but point it down and it flys, handles great through the twisty stuff corners on open flat corners and is just generally a great hard tail frame. As a serial frame changer I’ve gotta say this ones been with me for a year and I’ve no intentions of selling it on.
Build wise Xl frame shimano zee/xt, dt wiss wheels/maxxis tyres, bos deville forks and fox doss dropper post comes in about 30.5lb.
Size wise med/lrg gotta friend who’s 5.9 and on a medium but recons he could of gone for a lrg with short stem combo.
Don’t do the bottom bracket I’ve found it to be crap re greasing it about once a month.
Now your only issue is if you can decide if you want it before the last medium is sold in the uk.

Looking about I guess cotic soul, bird are of cause the new kids on the block but look good and if I had the cash I’d look at BTR custom ranger in 650b flavour.
I’ve ridden with burf from BTR on his 26inch one and all I can say is he was there and then he wasn’t and that was up hill too :-).
Looking at your question and seeing that your happy with your present bike sizing sizing, BTR are defor worth a look regards custom geometry and toptube/seat tube reach etc
But of cause bare in mind I’m old and still on small wheels so can not comment on how these ride :-(.

Hi buddy welcome to fold :D
First if it’s just bars I’m about to try these http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/HBOOKNUCK/on-one-knuckleball-handlebar
I’ve ridden the alloy versions and there ok so just orderd some. Myself.
Stem wise if it’s an over size one ie31.8 no, if it’s old one 25.4 then yes, in which case I’d look to my be shorten it a bit if it’s 100mm plus in length, you’ll get better control my be look to knock 20mm off.

Of I was in your position and wanted the above, and assuming your friendly with your local store I’d go to them.
see if they can get near or match the 20% he’s offering. Win win you get a new frame local with warranty and your lbs should get a few quid in the bank. Even if not a stockist it’s worth them seeing if they can get one as a one off for a loyal customer etc
A quick seach shows I-ride are the distributer
    Good luck.

I wouldn’t say 6k for a transit isn’t doable! I got an ex RAC on on an 08 plate with 115k miles for that and the amount of maintance history reports it came with was crazy plus full service. It’s a great van and I’m using it for work quit happily.
And yes finding a nice T5 will be like finding hens teeth I spent 2 months looking till I went the ex rac/AA type of vans.
    Good luck.

I’ve also take to just wrapping the frames up in cling film if nothing is around to protect them in.

I recon like myself it’s the size first is the issue limited market, second older version then all the other odds and sods come into play, and for some strange reason turners do seem to be one of those brands that have poor resale value compared to say Santa Cruz. Personally I don’t think it’s over priced but I’m not the market as personally I’d want the newer one with slacker head angle and tapered head stock like yourself :D

Hi guys I’ve got a buddy who does just this he’s the head latherer for Rolls Royce so it’s all top stuff.
He’s on Facebook and called B-Hide if you do contact him just say big Carl has put you on to it.
It’s not cheep but it is a custom quality job.
    Good luck.

Hi mate got the RL2 in use at the minute with gold stantions, nice fork did BPW on them at the weekend and they where fantastic .
they seem to sit quit high in there travel on normal type trails but when needed just open up and work a charm, as above running much lower air pressures than on the guide and the gold coating looks nice and that’s that from my point of view. Regards dla buddy’s got a set with it does what it says on the tin faultless to date :D
So to round up, if you’ve got a grand sat there for fox forks or can find a cracking deal on pikes! But for sub £500 fork new you can’t go wrong I’ll be sticking with xfusion for now that’s forsure.

Cube out on pretty much all versions of there 650b till 2015 models and if you look on silverfish web page there are no mondraker so for th forseeble 8O

Hi mate, it was a great day enjoyed it a lot great place and service. Take it your chain cassette aren’t worn or getting worn. Dave also dropped his chain a fair bit on his orange but he was also getting host shifting as well yesterday worth a check! tolerances are probably more important with this set up I’d think.

Nasty gash there mate hope it heals up quick.
I started riding flats this winter and wanted to protect the old shins! Got the gform ones comfy and strangely enough a few rides in waring them I cracked my shin straight of a fallen trees branch pad was totally fine leg was too just a big bruise to show for it. So for local woods I’d recommend them but would go hardshell for wales and the like.
    Just to help these http://g-form.com/products/pro-x-shin-pads/
A good luck should find them in the £30/35 mark

Not the frame. But 1 mile total over 2 attempted rides where I changed gear ripped the rear mech hanger off and tore 2 x0 rear mechs clean in half total damage worth about £390 at the time oh well.
Oh and I did crack an on one fatty frame at the top of the seat mast after about 40 miles use! I might add on one where great and it was all sorted within a few weeks :D

Pretty sure the hubs are 142 specific, I bought a set with 142 and can convert down.
When I got my iodine 3 the guy told me it was iodine 3’s only and you need to get them set up already.
But give 2pure a ring to check tough.
