The thing with modern geometry is most focus on the reach number but seem to not look at the seat angle number.
you said your coming from an older bike which likely would have a slack angle 70odd degree while the rise is around 75 from memory so that will push you forward a fair bit while also putting you right over those cranks.
another thing to note is upgrade only warranty the frame not the motor so if you do buy one make sure you get it from a decent shop that can help with any issues with that side of thing.
other wise it’s gonna be you plugging it in the old computer and running diagnostics your self.
that was the only real annoying thing for me! have to say.
Mainly because I only have a tablet and no computer.

That Lego is way to slim

    How tall are you desperate.
had a rise was a great bike pretty bang on geometry wise, have since gone full fat Lego so not felt the need to ride it so a mate is buying mine.
also the fact you can’t just ride it as a bike is good if battery runs out or you buy the optional  filler box for the down tube is very handy zero drag from the bottom bracket unit as the motor comes out with the battery etc.

Sad to say I’ve a spur hanging on the wall on the back of the house now for 12 months I ridden🤦‍♂️

Hate to say it just get some decent hubs and rim combo, hand built by someone like Strada wheels and you won’t look back.
I hear nothing but bad things about hunt wheels other than the customer service is good! But it seems it has to be with the amount of failures with hubs, rims and free hub bodies and I’m local to them in the south. So quit a few people I know have gone through a set pretty quick and given up with them.
    my thoughts anyway.

There not the cheapest, but all is ethically grown and brought in and roasted in-house.
plemty of different roasts to try to. Sussex barn is a fav smooth and quit a mellow flavour to start with with ones like dark side and riverside being up there on the stronger roast front.

The ERA from what a mate has said is almost pure get it set up and forget it way better than the 36 he bought and he also has the stories on his Pinner so fully EXT up.
Would  love to try but for reasons unknown if I’m gonna lay that amount of cash out!

I’ve got a hankering to try the intend inverted fork! Can’t say why just wanna see if there good lol tried the trust message was good but did beat my old an wrists up sadly and I thought they looked cool.

Not to everyone’s taste which I totally understand.
bit just always wanted to try an inverted fork, one day I hope 😁

Short yes but also bear in mind that the seat angle is 74deg on the orange where as the longer frames would be anything from 75.5 to 77.5 degrees so over all it will feel more roomy than it looks in number form.
I’m 6.4 and would have happy bought a crush 29er if they’d had a frame only when I was looking and would defo return to them as a frame at some point

I’ve just got the kinesis Rise pro, last L4 they had. only a few rides so far and have to say it’s pretty sorted for the money.
The motor system is great gives you enough extra power to get you up the hills.
I have to be fair and say I’m the other end at about 110kg so for me I think the range is going to suffer with one battery I did a quick 10 mile loop used river for most of the ride with a few blips in to rocket and by the time I was back at the car there was only one light on the remote, could be needs a few charges needed to get battery working at its maximum. but I’ll see.
But so far impressed with the motor system did have to,take the bb off and clean threads out and re torx the bolts due to a strange noise second ride but after that all good so worth a check on that may be when and if you get one.

I have the same issue and have tried loads of grips bigger hands but the diety grips work well,

and worth looking for some super tacky grips rental do them. ware quicker of cause but means you have to grip as tight.
also if you want I have some unused ESI grips here crap colours there slim. Pop me message and I’ll post them out so she can try them foc ok.

Yeah I do agree there but that in my mind means way less strain across the board on the motor and components.
though I am only just starting to look myself for an e-bike for next year possibly 😁

Personally I’d up,the money to get better parts to. Really is nothing worse than crap components,I’d say they could be the difference between loving or hating riding on a bike.
hardtail wise I did look at these. https://www.upgradebikes.co.uk/Catalogue/Bikes/Kinesis/Rise-Pro-MTB
more money but at least your getting half decent bits to start with.
only my 2cents worth of cause.

TFR should be fine as long as you dilute it down right avoid bearings etc as normal!
Also make sure it’s a non caustic one other wise you’ll dull the paint or finish on your bike and possibly the parts on it.

Strada wheels get my vote. 2 sets built by them and there spot on they build for,pro riders so must be ok I guess😂.

If budget isn’t to much of an issue I definitely recommended the Powerbeats pro wireless option! Hook over the ears easy controls on the headphones, volume, pause, skip forward and back options with just tapping on the side of both headphones. If you have an I phone they link straight up as made by Apple to so that’s easy also Bluetooth to other makes the same. Good sound to. I use them for work riding dog waking lol most days now.
as I said though not cheep. I’ve also seen them for sale on market place so look there to

Possible reason for sentinel surge in second hand Sales  is the V2 release and shipment coming in to the uk recently

Like me I changed out my smuggler during the summer and bought the new model spur on release.
or people could just be flush with grant money and have bought something new and different only guessing of cause.

No mate I’ve got it fitted in rims with a 27mm internal and it seems pretty chunky have to say.

Yeah I’ve run the barzo and Mezcal combo to and now jumped on to the new mazza tyre trail version.
only one ride this weekend in the slop but yep have to say pretty good clears well picks up and holds speed to.
cornering when I could was very impressive the side lugs hook in angle held ok considering the state of it out there to. Running 2.6 front 2.4 rear on a hardtail.

Heard good things about on up not tried though

Sussex again Strada wheels by ford station get my vote that’s all they do Darren and Mike really know there stuff and will advice you what’s the best combo for you and your riding style and there builds are second to non. They’ve built for serious pro racers that have won the Tour de France so they must be ok lol.

Yeh totally agree the ragley big al is a bargain in real terms gotta say love mine and just about to fit 2.6 tyres on it to see how they ride lol.
But if you need it now then the orange I’d say is worth a look though there mid to end of November now and only fizzy orange colour or a £100 up charge for a different colour etc which doesn’t make them that good value to me.

    batman11

Ragley are no stock till feb at the earliest bike snob a side on one scandal has to be worth a look for the money

nukeproof Also no stock in fact no stock of most decent frames to be fair

orange clockwork evo definitely is a very good shout as an all rounder

I’ve got my eye on the as a frame for a buddy in France I believe possibility end of this month for frames but not holding my breath

    other options I’ve looked at

    is nordest brittango

pipedeam sirus new v3 version just announced

    Stanton sherpa

    production privee Shan GT

these are all in the similar vain of the chameleon Geo wise but steel of cause so a slight weight penalty
<span style=”font-size: 0.8rem;”>also if your lucky check out the second hand market but there’s not much coming up the past week or two as been looking myself for said buddy, of cause this depends on what size you need to  </span>

I’ve run 2 29er frames designed around reduced off sets but with 51mm now! and to be fair not ridden them with the 44mm or less and have not noticed anything other than a great bike to ride. My be they wonder a bit more climbing but then I’m a slow crap climber anyway so no difference to me there😜 but steering is sharp and quick and as I said ignorance is bliss and why spend out if you don’t need to.

Yeah dpd or a mate of mine used TNT as they do,Europe.
don’t use  parcel force as once it’s out of the uk it then goes via other couriers not them and generally get  lost etc.

Yeah 7 weeks now fell of a ladder while working. All ok walked away with bad shoulder and some pain lucky.

2 weeks later to the day do a big job and the same shoulder starts hurting like a bitch!

Put up with it next day and then next and so on till I can’t use my hand properly near on zero grip.
Go see someone turns out I’ve trapped a nerve around C8🤷‍♂️ Any way few hundred quid Spent later and slowly all Is coming back to life, can’t do fiddly things well like right a jog list lol but it’s better than. Few weeks ago.
so might try and have a little ride out this weekend.
Worse still though is I’ve had a full brand new ride sat here Ready to go since the weekend before the fall ffs🤦‍♂️

production privee no5 when there back available another good shout

transition sentinel but my be out side budget for new version looks loverly though

not ridden any other than the 27.5 Shan full sus which have to say was next on the grip front from the back end steel bikes My carry a bit more lard but they are something else.

I’m actually interested in one of these as a frame only though. I’ve had a q7.5 crush a clockwork 137 and gotta say there a great and comfy alloy option to have.  Think the fact they don’t seem to come up second hand that much must say a lot in it self.
for the money it’s a good It’s a good bike to have I’d say ride it brake something then upgrade it as you go if you do pull the plug.
