I’m not one for jigsaws but my son’s partner loves them. We were in a shop in Grasmere last week, Barney’s Newsbox, the place looked like an absolute treasure trove with every available shelf and floor area stacked high with boxes of puzzles.

Their website looks pretty comprehensive too https://www.jigsawsuk.co.uk/

There are 2 on this clue

Chris Kamara had the same problem 😉

Inspired me to try the obvious answer again.

Finally got it. I put that answer in yesterday (or I thought I had) which confused me when it didn’t register. I’d then been trying all sorts of variations of his ex-wife’s names.

    Anyway, done for another year.

Still can’t get Amazon boxes – tried every variation of name I can imagine.

Time to watch some darts and rethink tomorrow.

Really famous people only use one name

    Edit: too slow!

I was sort of hoping they weren’t because I haven’t got the faintest idea who the answer is!

I’ve only got one left to get.

Are the Amazon boxes a clue?

    Pointless earlier tonight.

“Name a country which has at least one border with another country of at least 1000km”

First contestant thought long and hard and then came up with “Africa” – her team mate gave a look of absolute disgust that she could be so stupid.

Then when it was his go he looked utterly baffled and went with “The United Kingdom”

@nickjb, cheers for those. Got the “tins” now.

Going to have to ponder the others for a bit longer

The tins – not the bear the other one
The brighter of the two streetlights

I’ve just completed a dry September.

Carried on my normal exercise routine, continued my healthy eating but with slightly reduced portion sizes, weight is down 4.5KG

Wedding Anniversary this weekend so there will be wine but other than that will carry on through October

I used to swim 5 mornings a week before work until the pools closed and really missed it but Bunnyhop sums my feelings up exactly. My membership was a rolling monthly one so that has been cancelled and I won’t be returning for the foreseeable future.

I now ride my bikes much more often instead.

They are not door handles or door knobs. The second part of the clue is the besom – although the answer has it in the plural.

Drac – the two clues you are missing are the shiny purple thing under the Barnum poster and the sweeping brush with the things that look like door handles but aren’t

    Don’t Panic…

I can only assume it’s a spelling issue, as it must be what I think it is!

Assuming you’ve got the answer right it works both with and without the apostrophe

Hows about a clue for the fricken bag thing?

The paper bag? It has two answers

We have a Pure Evoke 1S for kitchen radio duties. Its a good few years old now but has been faultless and is perfectly suited for what it is used for. Not available any more but if the newer versions are as good then you probably wouldn’t go far wrong with one.

We also have a Sonos One (free gift with a mobile phone) used for Spotify around the house but tend not to use the voice control preferring to use it via a mobile. We have a JBL Charge 3 which is good for the same thing but is rechargeable so handy for in the garden.

None of our three would satisfy a hifi buff but would recommend any of them for anyone else.

Need a clue on the last difficult one in the kids one. I just cant see it!?

Without knowing what you’ve already got it is difficult to give a clue. However, it isn’t the doll, beach ball, baby shark, or bagpuss

The orangutan/book is an odd one. People earlier in the thread had success with various book titles within a series. I got it with the name of the book series.

Yes the robots arm symbol is a clue.
