Mattk – I think I know where you mean, probably been past those woods dozens of times, without ever really noticing them!

Can’t see an e-mail address in your profile, should be up for a ride sometime, I’m only down the road not far from Atherstone.

I have a loop in kingsbury woods that I’m slowly expanding (it’s about 5km) but i think I’m the only rider that uses the woods.

I’m also slowly discovering stuff around atherstone that’s pretty good too.

I think I must be quite local to you, and would be interested to hear about/share local routes if you’re interested

    Whereabouts is Kingsbury woods? :-)

    Banana flapjacks

    3oz butter
    2 tbsp golden syrup

Melt in a saucepan, take off heat and stir in:

    8oz oats
    2 ripe bananas, mashed
    Dried fruit/mixed seeds (optional)

190 in the oven for 20 mins. Lovely :-)

I got the thickies too, in S/M with size 8 feet. Really nice fit, not tight, not loose. Keep your feet nice and warm at this time of year, glad I got some.

I live in Nuneaton too.. whereabouts do you ride on Sundays usually? We get up to Cannock too, nice to escape there for a bit sometimes.

Tredz and Wheelies are on the Collect+ site which is the same free returns service that CRC and Wiggle use.

Self diagnosed lactose intolerant here, found out that milk, cream etc were making me really ill, cutting them out of my diet really helped.

I drink Oatly (oat drink/milk), which makes fantastic porridge.
You can get Vitalite or Pure margarine/spreads but they’re not very nice compared to butter.

I can tolerate butter, cheese and cottage cheese (all in moderation).. these seem to contain the least amount of lactose in dairy products.. see Wikipedia for more info.

They look like the spoke reflectors that were recently on sale at Aldi.
