With a spoon from a bowl. Made with milk and sugar or syrup.

Always makes me laugh when folk spout the ‘should be made with water and salt’
I’ll decide. Water and salt may have been how it was made when luxuries such as sugar wasn’t readily available to everyone but I prefer it with sugar thanks! 😀

Was about to say I think it’s pre-order only, however just checked the site and they have 7 in stock, so the container must have landed in the last few weeks since I checked the site…

    oooooh!

    In with a Quad.
Wanted to try it as a pair this year but the wife wasn’t keen.
Caravan or camper this year though!
Ends up an expensive one with a couple of hoodies and cycling tops! Man alive!
That said, if it all goes to keeping the event going in the future and allows a decent profit for everyone’s hard work then it can’t be grudged.

They seem to have edited the use of the word ‘the‘ out of that video! They’ve replaced it with the word ‘****’ instead by the looks of things…

AFAIK if you are dealing with Cyclescheme and they are facilitating the whole process if you ‘requested’ your voucher prior to Sept 20th 2010 then you will still pay the 5% as that is the date that Cyclescheme and HMRC agreed to the phasing in of the new higher rates.
Thereafter you can lease the bike from your employer for the 12 month period then transfer it in to Cyclescheme’s name for a further 25 months whereupon the value will fall to the lowest transfer/disposal percentage.

I did receive an email from Cyclescheme whilst I was on leave re. the final payment but I’ve yet to read it fully.

    Cheers

    Paul.

I have a Bionicon Golden Willow and I adjust it all the time.
Pressing the button and tightening the angles up for up hills makes a fair difference. It’s like having an extra range of gears.

It’s not as if they’re wanting to commission a painting of the item!
Surely it’s no hardship emailing a few pics to people who may be interested in spending some of their hard earned money on used goods.
If I sell anything I’ll stick a pic up. Be it a tenners worth or £1k.
The more info they get in the first instance the more time saved for everyone.

edit: Agree about manners if you have to go to extra special effort though.

The experiences I’ve had the existing shops haven’t been that encouraging the one you refer to being the better. I’d rather (and always do) drive the extra distance and go to Escape Route in Pitlochry.
Alpine may, perhaps end up getting my ‘balls! I don’t have ____ I’ll hit Halfords on the passing’ business.

what is the point in sending a shop 4 stands and something like 50 cycle computers,, so i got the computer and tool kit

You kind of answered your own question there.
What else did you to in with no intention of buying but walk out with anyway? The 4 stands did their job, they got you in the door.

Without going and reading the hmrc doc again I’m sure the 24 month payment is 18%.
The way to do it is to get a condition assesment set up as per Cyclescheme’s process or indeed just let them facilitate the final payment process. Yes, the company looses out on the winfall at the end of the loan period but in the scheme of things is all the paperwork and hassle worth the small percentage return? It all depends on the company’s reasons for doing it. I had 100 people take the scheme on this time. The cost of the bikes was £85k so at a 5-10% return (condition C or D) is it worth the hassle? Our finance dept thought not. ( they may just be lazy?):D

I’ll always use email as well as a post. Often the post will be after the email and as such it may look like I’m further down the list.
If it’s something I definitely want ‘I’ll take it, although I do have a question…’ seems to do the trick.
I’d have to agree, if one person wants me to give them pics and the other person wants to give me cash money, I’ll take the money thanks.
    I don’t think that’s too unfair?
Although I must admit, if I was selling something I’d always make a point of adding pics. You can just about g/tee that you’ll be asked for them and it’s a much better way to sell.

Got my Livestrong Jawbones and my wife's Enduring Pace today.
Both have the most minuscule of imperfections that would only be found if you were really looking for them.
Very impressed. Managed to get both pairs for less than I'd have paid for the Jawbones alone.

Thanks for pointing out the site.

Check your yellow pages. There are guys that specialise in extinguisher testing/re-filling.
Usually annual checks so may be as cost effective just to buy a new one?
Alternatively, set your car alight and give it a try… 😀

I'm guessing it went over your head Barney. Never mind, eh?

If so, it's only because I ducked out the way to avoid it. 😀

My time is worth too much to me to muck about with woodchip.
I either strip the walls back and re-board the walls or sheet over the existing walls. A sheet of plasterboard will be >£10 and it'll prob take up to an hour to strip 8×16 of woodchip. Won't take you too long to screw the boards up. Makes good maths to me.

Has been very good indeed. Had the Aldi types and a Joe Blow and the Giant seems better put together and very solid.

I have the Adventure version and it's good enough. Well built, but I've never seen a BOB to compare them. Likewise, I use mine mostly for the shopping run. Seems durable. I think I paid £125 for mine a couple of years ago.

I'll have a look at Sufferfest though.
