I've kind of lost touch with what's 'in'

    I went from a B&o system consisting of a 4 room masterlink with a 32" Avant, Beosound 3200 'lab 4000's and 'lab 6000's, an MX9000 and a beolink 3500.
Fortunately I sold it before it became close to worthless what with CRT being out of favour and networking taking the 'wow' away from Beolink systems.

I now have the setup below:

A Tosh 42" of with I don't know the model no., a Yamaha DSP-A5 driving; Mourdant Short MS815 up front, Avant 905i centre, MS823R at the back and a Mission MS6 sub. A Yamaha DVD-S520 and a Humax PVR 8000T feed the TV. All a few years old now but all serve their purpose well.
I'll be having a substantial upgrade in the next wee while with the TV going in to the bedroom and being replaced with something slightly larger and I'll be having that projector that I've nearly bought so many times! And of course, I must get a Blu-Ray of some description.

I enjoy looking through the members gallery in AVforums to steal some ideas.

I like YBF and TV Burp is equally enjoyable but which is better?

There's only one way to find out……..

Just about to buy one of these as a spare in the unlikely event my Ay-Ups go wrong (doh! said it now!)
Am I likely to get hit with customs charges?

    Cheers

I had this done for my wife's Christmas gift last year. (the Boxer dogs)
I had a recommendation from this thread
I have to say that his PS work and quality of print was fantastic!

Link to the guy I used[/url]
I think it cost me an extra ten or twenty quid across the 2 prints but knowing I was dealing with the guy one to one that would PS the pic and do the print and given that I had spoken to others who were more than happy with his work I felt it was worth it.

We had to rehome Kobe (left) due to a sudden and violent struggle for 'pack position' between him and Ozzy (middle)

A friend of ours breeds Boxers so we had an avenue to explore there but we ended up having success closer to home.
We got family members to spread the word and within days we had 3 potential homes through friends/work colleagues.
Kobe was rehomed within the week. Heartbreaking but the best thing for him and he is so much more content being an 'only dog'

I'm going to have to call them as I ordered a jacket for my wife and a couple of days later I got an email letting me know there would be a weeks delay. 1 month on and still no jacket nor has there been any reply to my emails.
A little disappointed really given the reviews I've read regarding their customer service.

I've yet to see another Bionicon Golden Willow whilst on my travels. People do seem to be interested in it when they see what it is though.

I read a bit about it in the mags and then had a shot of one at the Laggan Demo day and was so impressed I went and bought one. (Bionicon Golden Willow btw)

I've had a search and found some info but would be interested in some fresh opinions.
In light of the Hope group buy I'd be interested in opinions on the rims to go for. I ride XC and a bit of trail centre on my Golden willow running Fire XC pro 2.2 at the mo.
    Sorry for the slight hijack.

I ride a Bionicon Golden willow so benefit from 6" travel but with the adjustable geometry and travel. With a change of tyre and a press of the orange button the bike can be a hard hitting trail centre machine or a quick and fairly nimble XC bike. Most of the year I ride it with Fire XC pro 2.2 which makes it a hugely versatile bike. I doubt I'll be able to replace it with one bike and to be honest I haven't felt the need to change it yet 1 year on.

gonefishin, how very wrong you are. The hysteria orchestrated by the govt. and media has caused a fair bit of naivety re this jab.

My mother works in a particularly 'at risk' section within the health service and will not be taking the newly developed vaccination that's only been tied for 3 months (maybe 4 now)
From what she's said very few if any of her colleagues will be taking it. In fact they have been given training on not only how to administer the drug but also how to avoid answering the question "So, have you taken it?"

    No thanks, not for me.

Because we all love going out to do Home Fire Safety Visits…..
You should find that the Brigade will be in touch with you Nezbo but if not be sure to give them a call and get them round. It'll put your mind at ease if nothing else.
I hate it when I burn my helmet Mick  :D

Good shout. Just ordered 24 tins from them for £39.99 delivered. Going halfers with a mate so it works out even cheaper for my 12! Result.

What kind of car is it?
Which garage repaired it? Would you trust their work?
I've had a few write offs throughout the years. My uncle owns a bodyshop and I know the repair will be right.

I was there a couple of weeks ago. We were delayed on the road up so only managed to get one run in. It was relatively dry so the boardwalk was OK. Certainly more 'Maroon' than plain ol' red. I had a couple of over the bars moments and cooked a set of pads. Would have liked a second chance at it but the following day it was hosing it down with rain! Did a witches/WC/10 ride the next day though.
I am going back next year, that's for sure! Great fun but rather serious at the same time.

    Look at the wonderful views…………

    It was rather intimidating!

    The following day was WET!

Let's face it, I wasn't getting any wetter!

If you feel that it's just a bit too expensive then may I suggest that you phone O2 to order one and see if they have any refurb'd units availible. I saved around 1/3 on retail and it comes absolutely as new other than the O2 box as opposed to the Apple one.
I'd echo the positive points from above. It is by far the best gadget I have ever bought! That said, when I was looking to buy, both O2 shops I went in to the assistants recommended the Blackberry. I played with both in the shop and had an extended test via my mates Blackberry and have to say that for me the iPhone wins by a country mile.
You have a 14 day return if my memory serves me correctly so my advice would be try in store, buy over the phone and if you don't like it send it back and get the alternative.
Sent from the comfort of my bed via my iPhone btw :D

Shame. My mate rides it regularly (He often works at Loch Insch) and he took me that route last year. Great riding there.

I knew nothing about this :(
I'm working this weekend but would have liked to have done it.
Although, my wife has just informed me that 'It's been on our milk for a while.' Well, that'll teach me for not reading my milk!

You'll only get the Boardman bikes via the Halfords scheme.
My wife was interested in a Boardman bike but due to being in with 'Cyclescheme' she couldn't get one.

I'm looking for an Exige at the moment but it's been suggested to me that an Elise would be an easier car to live with on a daily basis.
There may be the odd occasion where it'd be used to go biking trips. What's the options for mounting bike racks?
Granted, it won't be the most practical car but we have other vehicles to use if need be however if I buy it I'll want to use it as often as I can.

We get courses on breaking in and in the event of an alarm operating but no immediate sign of fire we try to cause as little damage as possible. If you know what you're doing you can be in, in no time at all.
That said, I've not changed any of my locks.

Just about to buy these for the wife's new bike but having watched the fitting video they wont fit the hybrid with V's. Pity as they look really good. Might buy a set anyway fro my road bikes.

She will indeed be commuting on it (all be it from a park and ride closer to her work, 3 miles through town) but having discussed it a HT would get more use. Multi days away when her Stumpy FSR would be too much bike and other 'less severe' rides.
She'll never be in a big hurry to get anywhere so won't need the speed of a road or hybrid and the commute isn't that much of a distance that the geometry of the HT would become an issue.

Good stuff in = good stuff out.

Well, perhaps good isn't the right term but you'll find that a dogs shiite will be harder and better formed and not too wet if the food is good. This suggests that the nutrients have been absorbed and all the godness is taken in by the dog.
The coat will shine and energy levels will be high.
I feed our dogs Eukanuba with fantastic results. If the food is changed it's noticeable within the week.
My mate races huskies and he says changing food can make the difference of many seconds lost off times.
Avoid multi-coloured dried stuff and tinned food it's not the best of stuff.

I could give my mate Liz a shout she has a big house there that she doesn't use all year round.
