Stay at the Glentress Hotel. It’s at the foot of the trails and Murray there will point you in the direction of all the good stuff.

Ski Club of GB policy is pretty good I think, covers off piste with & without a guide and includes MTB cover by the looks of things.

Just got some Giro Ventana’s, I think they are supposed to be the replacement for the Terradura. Got the boa and a Velcro strap and very pleased with them so far.

Yes there is, that’s where I got the code from. Trouble is they don’t actually explain what it means ie. light / medium / firm compression? etc.

The Large should be good for you. I had a 2018 Rallon and 150mm dropper was fine not quite slammed (5’9.5″ and 31in leg). Came from a large Bronson too!

If you have an iphone (or I guess any smart phone) you can get all their routes through the Neilson Strava page if you have the app. If you’re a technophobe like me the staff there can load it for you in an instant!

They have decent phone mounts you can borrow.

We went in July and did a few rides, I think it’s one of the better Neilsons for cycling.

They have new Boardmans which seem to be pretty good, 29er trail hardtails (no dropper), gravel bikes and road bikes. Yes, you can take them out on your own and they have Strava maps you can download there and they may have some Garmins to lend you as well. They have some phone holders which we borrowed.

Staff were all good and there’s plenty of route options for you. I was keen to try a gravel bike for the first time and was impressed, now considering n+1!

What a load of tosh.  The Tory government did not promote Brexit.

Some 40% of Tory voters also voted to remain so to concluding that voting Tory = Racist is not only insulting but clearly wrong.

I’m your height or a teeny bit less and the large with a 35mm stem works perfect!

Also interested.  They told me they would be drawing up the steel version in a couple of weeks :-)

Think I read something about this on one of the mtbr threads on the Hightower LT so might be worth trawling through them.

The red is really difficult to get right in photos, its definitely an orangy red or even a pinky red, not a red red!

I went to see one and have ordered it in that colour and I don’t really like red bikes!

They did have one at D&D Cycles but not sure it’s still there.

If you’re in the south D&D Cycles have also got a large demo bike.

If it’s so much trouble running the land he owns already why does he want to buy more of it? Genuinely interested in his motivation behind owning such an estate.

Besides the above any ideas for a big group, around 15 of us? We usually stay at Green lanterns after a day at Afan but this time trying Cwmcarn before BPW so looking for something between the two. Coed Owen bunkhouse next to Nant Du looked ideal but unfortunately it’s already booked that weekend.

I have. I’ve put a One Up R Cage thingy on it and it works well. Had it set up in the stand as standard and it seemed to shift fine but I never used it in anger so can’t really comment on that set up.

You don’t need one per bike as you can get the top caps separately.
