I drive as i find riding on the road dull, i soon switch off. Quite like driving, music or karl pilkington on soon passes the time. But i get to work an hour earlier than i’m supposed to and go back to sleep 🙂

I’ve gone 33t. Not missed at all, usually going fast enough DH to not warrant any more pedaling

Would travel out a bit to the pack horse on new mills rd only 5/10mins up the road from Marple and it does the best steak & ale pie in the world. Marple pubs are a bit crap for food, very over priced

Once the tyre is try squashing the tyre so the beads move (hopefully) closer to rim, valve at the bottom. Pump like ****. I’ve only got one layer of yellow tape & perhaps get rid of the cloth rim strip..

Expert mechanic here, I can do everything 😀

Gonna bang on about on how awesome I am. Swapped my tyres over last night on flows – 2.4 ust RQs which are tight as ****. It’s all technique just push the bead Into the middle with the valve last slosh some jizz in track pump to 40 psi – job done. No soap or levers and I do have tiny girl hands

**** ace tyres most of the time, shy of 14st with about 40 rear and 30 in front. Tend to find the rocks ping out from under me. Don’t understand this obsession with exact tyre pressure though

Same injury at the start of summer for me, but only 4 stitches. Just what ever you do do not let anyone let re-open the wound looking for missing stitches/just a clean. Still struggling 3months later

Tabago yes, if your manchester based – feel free to pm me for details.

Had 3 fitted now by the same folks, always started work at 8 and gone by 1, 2:00. It really shouldn’t be a two day job unless you have a house made of cheese

+1 for Dog Soldiers. Nearly erased that from memory. Many brown trouser moments visiting a mates when she lives in a game-keeper cottage with the kennels out back, also happens to be white with a couple a defenders out front AND in the middle of the forest
