Did wonder about that and how to justify or just **** it and it see…

    Aye, one or the other.

Let’s face it, going to be worth the cost in the end, I’ll fire off an email to Craig and get the ball rolling…

Wondered this, probably easier to buy some forks in the States, ship them to Craig then have them shipped to here…

    Honestly, to do list tombola.

Every single thing I need, like or should do is on a little post it note.

If I pick it, got to do it.

Made a 4ft x 8ft sandpit for a mate’s kid and had to use stuff I had to source for free.
Got me out and I felt like riding as a result.

Very similar here BWD, I’ll drop you an email shortly.

I’ve gone from being the warmest person in the world to freezing all the time.
Impossible to get and stay warm, then on odd occasions roasting. I’ve worn gloves riding, much to everyone’s surprise!

Had a lot of time off the bike, nearly 4 months and I’ve jumped straight back on in winter, so maybe I should lay off longer?
Anything prolonged up & down floors me and I can barely breathe in.

I’m also on B12, GP has also put me on ferritin, vit D and some others in the meantime.

    How have you found sleep?

I have 3 thank you cards, which I am very proud of 😆

I did a placement for 8 weeks in neuro rehab I think when I was 18, but for whatever reason I did history instead of OT at uni.
I’ve spent 2 years trying via the apprenticeship route, trusts seem keen, but no further luck.

    As for the workplace.
I couldn’t imagine working in a non-mh setting now, stuck with boring **** taking photos of their shite lunch talking about their shite life. I’ve always found the young people polite and ask how you are doing and what you’ve been up to. Also, much more fun to see someone’s shite lunch flying across the room!

I’m gonna sort my uni application out in the next week. Anyone up for going through my personal statement please?

    Fantastic thread.
Been meaning to post something similar for a while…

Any thoughts on routes into it; apprenticeship versus degree?

    Me too.

Know a few who’ve gone Z1 coil and haven’t looked back.

Just sold my last pair of RC3 ti’s

The RC2 damper has the Richie Rude/Aaron Giwn shim stack iirc.
Changing that helped loads, as did the Lufftkappe.
The Grip 2 forks are much better, no longer feels like I’m riding a whacker plate.

Also looking for a fork which is as good as the old stuff 🤷

Alloy Tyee or stumpjumper frame, that’s what I’ve narrowed it down for now.

There’s also the full moxie frame at third…

Rimpacts on two bikes here, given the state of them and that I’m now running tyres until they are almost slick, definitely worth getting them. Saved me at least 4/5 tyres getting binned…

Both 140r/160f if you want, lifetime warranty etc.

I’m on my third Offering frame in less than a year but they’ve been good, so have Transition for mates who’ve had issues.

If you are up North at any point happy to go for a ride.

I’m plagued with the thought that the Evil is mega flexy in the back end but it’s the shit wheelset. Spent an evening on a SB6, which was sweet, but worse than the Offering for being flexy. Mate loved mine, said it climbed really well without locking the shock out.

Demo’d Sentinel, certainly not as good a going uphill…

If you go Evil, look at going frame oh at least.
Don’t want to be lumped with a 6.5k bike dripping with Sram and E13…

Look at the equivalent spec Geometron or Transition wise…

Have to admit, reading through all this has reminded me how good the riding is around here.
Haven’t ridden secret sausage in a years now.

    Email in profile.

Managed to surround myself working with autistic individuals for the past 10 years. Everyday is full of the weird, wonderful and funny.

I know all about Lou Reed’s favourite cafés, walks & records. The life cycle of Narwal’s and Metal Gear Solid. Then been brought fresh bread at lunch. The neurotypicals didn’t even look up from their phones…

Rather happy with my 3 pairs. Will be quite happy to get a few more when these eventually die…
