I’ve not cleaned the pistons yet. I’d do so with whatever’s in the system.

There’s no need to bleed them.

Pop the wheel out and pump the lever, maybe a few times maybe more until the pistons sit proud of where they once more. They pads may rub at first but only for a short while.

It does some stuff and makes them mint again, i have to do it a once or twice a week atm

5:10s a size too big and two pairs of wool socks. Except you’re going to get wet (fnar) but need to stay warm, your feet need wiggle room too tight and you’ll get cold feet….

Got two pairs of freeriders – the Danny Mac ones are a lot more robust than std freeriders. Just don’t stick them in the washing machine & should last a while – 2 years out of mine atm – ride few evenings and most weekends..

Green hope tape isn’t tubeless tape, it’s just rim tape.

You’ll need some stans (preferably) tubeless tape, just check the width is correct. Also do the valve up with pliers.

When I sold my 5 I posted it Glasgow to London. I used Paisley freight and all was good. Note though that for £20 you get about £100 of insurance. I upped the insured value to £1300 and the freight charge was around £50 I think.
