    *Ahem*

ACTUALLY I own Ramsbottom, its MY manor until further notice Binners, and I shall fight anyone else to the death. I can be found riding round Nuttall Park swearing at dogs and children and once I get my training wheels off and my mum lets me out past half 8 I’m claiming Holcombe Hill as mine

    So nerrrrrrrrr………. 😛

Wind turbines cause bats’ lungs to explode. It’s true!

Just noticed your thing about having a tankard with a Bat on is this an actual interest or a I wear batman undies interest 😀

I used to be obsessed with them being in my roof at the Trust cost us a fortune till they’d finished nesting but we used to have who can spot the most poo on the outside window ledges competitions from our desks

They wanted to charge me £25 so I got it ‘coughs’ unlocked down the market for £10…

….actually no, that was Orange…. as you were pretend I didn’t say anything *blonde moment* 😯

But, you can usually get them force unlocked in little shops and market stalls

I used to work as a Project Manager for the Wildlife Trust and its a mixed reception dependent on were they are I guess.

‘Climate change’ *waits for debate on if this is a real issue or not* is likely to have a significant impact on wildlife so measures to reduce it are good.

So…………. therefore we generally supported the principle of increasing the proportion of energy generated from renewable sources in combination with measures to reduce energy demand overall if that makes sense .

There are smaller differently shaped turbines that are safer round ‘bird’ areas but you’re right about the bats DEFRA have done alot of work on migrating bat populations, again depends on where they are put

That’s a brilliant photo. Looks to have been shot from Holcombe Hill.

Isn’t it fab, yes I’m sure it is as I’ve something similar on my phone that was a bit rubbish and not worth posting on here

English Heritage may be worth a call they pointed my old boss in the right direction for supplies as they themselves have cottages they own that people live in that they maintain, I guess for that advice then perhaps National Trust too????

I can see this from my house (I personally didn’t take this photo though) I love natural power, you could power a small country from the wind of my elderly volunteers most days……

Reminds me of War of the Worlds when I sit and watch them 😛

ll the proper boozers round here the older men have their own they keep behind the bar.

Funnily enough, the only place I’ve ever seen that done was in South Wales.

Perhaps that sounded like they all have them, didn’t mean that just meant I’ve lived in a few places round Wigan & Bolton and seen it alot

I had to get treated for scalding on my legs whilst at college in my teens. I bought a homeless man, begging outside a shop, some soup and a buttie from greenhalghes, he chucked the soup back at me shouting “I hate soup” and I got treated for minor burns…..

To be fair I hate soup too….. 😯

Memory foams are ACE mines luuuuuuuuuuuurvely was £800 quid new which sounds VERY dear BUT its lasted over ten years and had a ten year guarentee so pro-rata its not bad, when I sleep in anyone elses bed I always have a ‘princess and the pea’ moment and can’t sleep…. actually that sounded wrong….. 😯

Just meant splash out and it’ll last

You have to justify your expenses and these are very strict. If your justifyable expenses are equal to or greater than your disposable income then you will be fischarged in 9 months (discharged = receiver cannot take any more money)

When you say justify do you have to show utility bills, receipts for petrol etc how do you proove it to them??? I heard they change your tax code so that they claim your tax under an IPO I don’t care as long as its getting paid, I’m not trying to shirk it just make life a little easier, working so hard then having bog all money is depressing but hey I have a good job I love, tonnes of mates and a great life apart from this worry so….

Thanks for that guys, I’ve contacted them to see if my amount on my IVA can be reduced at all, I know I have to pay it, I’m not doing a ‘Kerry Katona’ as we call it round here. See what they come back with, other than that I’m trying to think of a second income that may make things a bit easier.

Like I said it wasn’t shoes and handbags, I’m more of a pint and footie girl, when my ex wasn’t earning anything, which was for quite a long time I was paying bills and stuff on credit cards, daft I know, but what you do to get by at the time thinking things will change… they didn’t….. he didn’t… so I left but stuck paying back ALOT of money.

Guess I’ll just ‘suck it up’ and continue as I am try and see if ‘Hardy’s will sponsor my drinking for a while

I now charge admission fees for friends, family etc who visit me at home.

    A difficult but necessary measure.

OAP & Student discount still apply?

Moved nearer to work and car sharing with a colleague week on week off my petrol costs have gone down from £200 a month to £100 plus no parking costs as he has a space behind work, that saves another £26 a week.

Oh yeah and birthdays and xmas baths are down to just xmas….. its what Jesus would have wanted besides my perfumes quite strong….. 😯

I’ve got an older model Polo GTI, not quite as flash as having a Golf I guess but its still a 1.6GTI and looks sporty mines only got 75k on it even though its a ’99 plate you can pick them up for about 1k with more milage on than mine but its a good solid car. I guess anything VW

I know nothing about cars really that’s just my opinion 😀

I was thinking the same thing this morning. There was an interveiw on Radio 4 with a woman who was going through what was left of her house trying to find her husbands medals (he died last year) where would you even start… 🙁

that’s a little unfair seeing as you’ve based your whole rantette on the something he “apparently” said. If you can’t be arsed to listen at the time then you have no right to have a rant after the event, honestly charity workers are just such slackers

Hmmmmm….. not rising to the bait I’m afraid I know how hard I work for what salary and who I help so….

Such talk from a lady offends my English sensibilities.

Heh! It don’t offend mine, but then, i am scum, so it’s to be expected really.

I really get quite turned on by hearing posh ladies swear, and use utterly filthy language…

    Posh? Moi? 😯
