Canon are guilty of this with there DSLR’s there could create an affordable DSLR that shoots 4K but priced it way beyond most with there 1DC.

Then Panasonic came along and it’s bit them in the arse with the GH4.

I know lots of people who have binned Canon for other manufacturers since.

IMO and from experience I have found the NHS and it’s staff either completely shite or completely brilliant.

    With nothing in between.

I used to have a job when I was literally up at the crack of dawn (feeding live stock) 4am – 4.30am in the summer was common I’ve always seemed to get up early
If I ever have a lie in I’ve got to get out of bed by 9am otherwise I get terrible back ache :?

To be honest I’ve in the process of binning all my Canon gears for a GH4 apart from low light I cannot fault this camera, I’m personally into more video stuff but I always find myself going for my GH4 rather than the 7D mark II these days so the Canon has to go and I’ve shot Canon for 20 years +

I just love the size and the lack of weight.

If I was going for a DSLR I’d go for the two main brands as you can pick up really good lens for both for not a lot on money.

Within the next year or so 4K will be broadcast so may as well get one that can handle it. :-)

It’s all about time though I’m sure.
I buy off the shelf as to be honest by the time I get in from work all I want to do is eat and **** around in a kitchen after a bloody hard days work is not very high on my to do list.

But going back 15 years or so, going out and killing something butchering it then cooking it, that feeling cannot be beaten and it tastes MILES better :D

If it wasn’t for the need for low light shooting (bands, weddings) my Canon gear would be gone i **** love my gh4 with the f2.8 glass it’s one of the best cameras ive owned and that includes my 7d mark 2

I’ve met and took dead pheasants off Ian Botham really nice bloke who at the end of a days shooting came over and thanked the beaters personally.

I used to drink in the same pub as David Beckham, Ryan Gigs the Nevels etc.. And after a lively bit of banter one night my mate got Beckham in ahead lock at the bar.

And i know the girl on the right in this pic

I had this a while back with a huge health firm I started working for then sacked it off as it was not for me.
I handed in my notice officially and left first month went by suddenly I’ve been paid cool I thought they paid me a full month pay for 2 weeks training month 2 came and another wage went in.
Now at the time I’d started another very low paid job and was tempted to say nothing as I was really struggling.

BUT I’m and honest bloke (too honest some would say) so wrote to them and pointed out the error the next letter I got was a demand for the 6 weeks pay.
I wrote back saying without me they could have carrying on paying me indefinably how about 4 weeks back.

They agreed so I paid back the 4 weeks but kept the two :D

I’ve been in today to have a wheel adjusted after someone had give it a good kick while parked up near work :(

Same store “E” I was going to buy a Wheel Truing Stand but at £80.00 though may as as well get them to do it, it went for a few spokes to possible wheel rebuild and possible new hub so should be an interesting conversation tomorrow when they ring.

Especially as the other guy mr-up-seller was saying the spokes in spesh bikes have alloy threads on them that pretty much “turn to dust” when you try to adjust them just looking at the spec for the bike there Stainless, 2.0mm (14g) hummm it will be an interesting conversation my thinks.

Ok well and it will prove unpopular but
1st Place Evans, Chill Factor ques are a nightmare at busy periods but staff are top, unfortunately they change so often I cannot remember names but they have great people working there, one girl once saved me soooo much time by running through a tool list for a job I needed to do on the bike. :D

2nd Place Halford’s, Congleton went above and beyond when my cus was searching for a bike on the bike to work scheme and no one else was arsed to even check at other stores etc…

curvature well I’m the only one remaining from the old setup of 3 manager, guy doing admin and me shop floor.

My last boss died of cancer last year, the other guy retired last year taking 10 years plus of experience with him and I was left holding the fort for 4 month until they got another manager in it was hell on earth ,I was working from 7.30 am until 8 pm most days struggling like **** to keep the departments head above water and training someone to my job while I (untrained) got to grips with the managers stuff.

We had just started to get the department back on it’s feet when this has happened. So for me it’s back to square 1 working my arse off doing everything “the best I can” as I have NO time to do everything.

But hey thanks for your comment.
