We used to have simlar issues when working gamekeeper, poachers, new age travelers, or just chancers.

You can use the.minimum force necessary to remove them from you property 99% of the time asking was all it took but we have used 12 blokes, 2 dogs and 3 4×4 tractors before now! Police were just there to make sure we did not kill them during the removal process. **** useless.

Put some private property sign up GOOD cctv WITH cctv warning signs and some noisy animals/ birds if you cannot have a dog, geese or guinea fowl are excellent guard animals btw

In fact I’d highly recommend the Guinea Fowl TBH we used to have about 12 in every pheasent pen and you could hear when something was about, fox or man for bloody miles on a still night lol :D

To me and my dealing with NHS staff is a bit of a lottery.

I’d say 75% are not interested or really not arsed or want you out of the their way ASAP (I referring to GP’s BTW)
BUT 25% are **** miracle workers, who are totally and utterly brilliant.

The only problem I’ve found is you have to get through the 75% crowd before getting to the people who actually make the bloody difference. :x

Anything other than local rides I wear them,(661’s).

I see it like this, you can walk out of an accident with a broken arm in the hills and get help, being unable to walk would be a big, potentially life threatening issue especially on your own.

I cannot get on with elbow pads but knee pads always. Speaking from someone who has had major knee issue in the past it a no brainer.

Newcastle Brown was £1.25 the other week in our local Aldi :D

I used to drink lots of it many moons ago, in fact it was one of the few drinks in Jills Rock Club as I remember it where they just had crates of it behind the bar.

I’ve recently got back into it again just for the hell of it really and ………………….I actually enjoyed it :-)

Locally cannot really go wrong with anything from the Dunham Massey brewery

This is the basic starting salary though isn’t it?

It does not take into account “Ash Cash” for instance? And all the other bits of paper work they can put a signature too and get paid?

No one forces them to be a doctor, their choice. So the money is crap for a year or two at least you know you on the up. Most mere mortals can work 20 years plus on that salary and think it okish.

Don’t like it don’t do it no one holds gun to your head FFS

    Hi mattbee Greater Manchester.
Duffer I **** hate gardening. And it’s not the dressing up it’s the running around and shooting that I think I’ll like :D
I spent the first 6 years of my working life dressed in cammo half the time.

I did archery for a while with my brother but we found the clubs very up there own arse so used the range I used to shoot at with proper firearms until he sold his gear.
Not much fun on your own :?

I must admit I love my 29er but just for commuting and simple paths I would not take it to the lakes and I’ve gone the 29er > CX route but just gone back to the 29er and sold the CX as for my personal commute I enjoyed the 29er more especial blasting home down cheeky trails. :-)

    OP
Try the following buy some zinc oxide tape place the first piece of tape under your knee cap stick it to your skin (press hard!) then depending on leg pull it tight and upward and the stick it against the side of your leg. Then place another piece of tape below the first (just touching) then once again pull it up on a diagonal and stick it to the side of your leg.

Basically your pulling the skin etc to the outer side of your bad leg. If this eases it you have the same problem I have and need phsyio. It’s basically the tendon in your leg not running straight over you knee cap.

When I first got it I was out on a ride and could hardly make it back it’s like some one sticking a knife into your knee cap and VERY pain full.

It took 3 doctors appointments and 2 NHS physios before I found someone who knew what the issue was (a knee specialist Physio). Then 6 months of physio.

I now HAVE to ride my bike if I don’t within 2 weeks it starts to come back.
It’s cause by a mussel mismatch and the mussels in your thighs need strengthening in order to pull the tendon back straight.

*****NOTE I’M NOT A DOCTOR OR PHYSIO. So get professional advice.*****

    Cannot **** wait!!

Stagger out of the pub and “home james”, bloody excellent, think of all those country pubs up and down the country that would benefit.

Taxi businesses would be gone in the long term.

I’m all for it, being the lover of country pubs and few pints :D

If I’m doing a local ride I don’t any more (including Delamere) but Lakes, Rivi or anywhere with gnar Knee Pads every ride (661’s).

Elbow pads even though I own a pair I just cannot get on with them so I don’t wear them.
