I think over all Roam & Seasons were definitive moments for me everything else up to LifeCycles was just copies of Roam and Season IMO

LifeCycles was another definitive moment for me, it brought back the ART IMO and something different the only issue I have with it and it is the ONLY issue was maybe too much ART and not enough riding but that’s subjective I suppose.

    Over all,
    Roam
    Season
    LifeCycles

Are some of the best shot video/film work I’ve seen full stop :D

I’d go to York as well, great location just get hotel as close to city walls as possible. For less of a walk back from the pubs, city center eateries. :-)

FFS just set the camera you have to sports mode as blurry kids seem to be the issue. That will save you learning about shutter speeds etc…

IF you WANT a DSLR get a 550D I’ve used them for professional jobs without issue. Best camera for the money IMO.
Throw images from 550D and 7D’s in Lightroom day in and day out and you cannot tell the difference between them (I shoot both). :D

I know this is totally unhealthy and not a drink but if I feel like crap after a ride I eat a good part of (full pack) of Maryland Cookies and feel better not sure if its the fat/sugar rush or what, but does the trick with a couple of hot brews :D

    Sit and have brew
Go back into dark, cold garden and hose down.
Few hours later or next day(once bike is dry) oil / lube

I’ve suffered from Moderate hypothermia and the best thing you can do is get them £%CKing moving off the hill.

I know all I wanted to do was rest and sit down my speech was slurred and as I look back now I was in the poo if I had been on my own I may not have made it. If you notice slurred speech ever the person your speaking to is in serious trouble and so help them out!

    Well done OP :-)

I always though a cheap light one would be two cables* (* insert your setup here) plus a RC car chassis with a pan and tilt mount hanging off it thus then allow you to alter the speed of the camera on the cables* to follow the riders. :-)

Your going to have to be pretty close to your riders with a gopro BTW otherwise they will be dot in the frame :-)

It depends on what weight you are going to be lifting on it really, if your lifting a camera person then you will need cable!Plus a $!th load of safety gear etc…….
For a small gopro setup a lot less, there are issues with physics distance and weight of cable over long runs you will need to take into account on big setups.

But in using metal cable be bloody careful when loading it as if it goes it will literally take peoples heads off (hence the physics calculations!)

Until the beginning of the year I was doing the Swinton(Worsley) to Sale run everyday for work and it drove me nuts Then I got the bike.

Road from Swinton to Keloggs then Canal all the way to work felt better, got home faster some nights. 25 mins in good traffic by van 4o mins on the bike some nights it took over an hour and that was knowing all the cut through. LOL
I’m now living in Sale and have a 13 min ride to and from work :D

I’ve gone 4×4 to van and love it the heigher ride positions in both IMO make you feel much less tired on long runs than in a car I would never go back to standard car now :-)

Cheers guys just ordered a couple off Fleebay for a couple of quid nothing more anoying than blasting down some rough stuff than having to slow down to push the bloody thing back on my head.

If I’m still on rough I tend to have to grip the saddle with my knees while I remove a hand from the handle bars to push them up. 8O :-)

Hi Ewan the tunnel is for if your setting the the traps in the outdoors etc you legally have to set them in tunnels to stop dogs, cats, kids :D getting caught in them.

Should be ok in an enclosed space in your loft though.

The traps I mentioned do already have chains attached those your looking at seem ok but i would still attach them to something, but it’s not me who will be crawling in lot space trying to catch a well pi$$ed off rat with one leg caught in a trap so the choice is yours 8O

One thing when going to empy to traps give them a prod with something other than your finger first just to make sure there dead, 8O You would be supprised with what they can survive go for Fenn Mk 4’s traps wise, and in a loft space are fine but legally any where else would need to be place in a tunnel of sorts.

Make sure you nail the traps chain down well so they cannot go walk about in them as well.

Killed 100’s in my time as a gamekeeper still gave me the creeps BTW ALWAYS wash your hands after touching them or areas where they have been.
