Di i mention i knew a very very clever man quite high up in a motorsport organization who actually had a spreadsheet costing a relationship lifecycle over 25 years compared to high class call girls

LOL once sat in on a room full of milionaires discussing life dating, women etc..
One drew the conclusion and I quote.
“If it Flys, **** or Floats rent it. It’s cheaper in the long run”! :D

The only disadvantage I have found is the front seems to washout more readily on very slide prone surfaces E.G wooden boards.

Well I was VERY sceptically about all the market Bullshit about 29ers but after buying a 29er HT (Spesh Carve Comp) I love it cracking bike ideal for my commute, local trail, canal path rides also it’s ideally for miss llama to have a ride on in local parks etc..

I was at fort bill the other week and outside a newspaper shop was a car with 2 Santa Cruse and a Nukeproof on top. The car was an Audi and I still thing all three bikes were worth more than it :-)

I bought my most expensive bike 2nd hand so car had the bigger price at the time of buying.

horse riders much more biker friendly fitter .

    :D

I always say hello to horse riders as I was told until the horse hears a human voice some do not know what a bike is and get worried.

And going back to my orginal point are usually nice looking young ladies 8)

    Okay
Lived to the west (brought up in Prestwich, Swinton/Worsley) and orginally from here now living in the south Sale.
If you want country side I’d head out either Bolton way or Cheshire direction depending on whether you want hilly or just general open space.

M60 is a car park usually if you work normal hours so any route on your way in is best planning to being on it as little as possible.

Knowing what I do I would avoid basically the right hand side of the city so Failsworth, Droylsden Denton direction.

Close to the city I’d go for Sale, Altrincham(Metrolink save the using the car) Lymm, Hale, Bramhall some parts of Urmston.
Further a field Egerton, Rivington, Turton Bottoms.
NOTE there are good and bad in all areas just the above have lots more good and a little bad :-)

The main problem I have when driving is two-breast on narrow country lanes HTF am i supposed to get past?

I do a lot of road riding (on the MTB) but even with friends we stay single file I’m sorry but two-breast on narrow country lanes is just being a bloody pain in the back side

I hate the board walks at Gisburn they go narrow and quiet high at one point if i remember correctly.

What I did was take it very easy going on and aim the front wheel at all the boards sticking up above the normal level thus slowing yourself down without touching the breaks. :-)

But most of the time there **** death traps, I have some on my local ride smooth wood plus green slime came off twice hard twice at weekend and ended up walking across VERY carefully.

Mine wasn’t it was cheaper just make sure they will honour your NCB as some give you a load of bollocks about different type of vehicles etc etc..

I’ve gone from car to van back to car and kept my NCB running without issue just tell them their talking crap work for me.

But working here is full on from the cleaner on the shop floor to the directors EVERYONE works their arse off no matter what level your at.

Reward for it, is a nice bonus at Christmas( – a % if you have had time off sick).

Glazebrook Way on Saturday what a bloody let down manage to clock 30 miles on the bike though.

When a map states bridleway then ever sign is for footpath it gets bloody frustrating. Especially when bridges are boarded up as well

I ride HT and FS and it all depends on the trails IMO

I’ve ridden stuff FAST on the FS that would smash me (important one) and the HT to bits.

On the other hand I did 30 miles this morning on the my 29er HT which was a mix of road, trail, field 8O and it would have felt twice the distance on the FS

I just throw my water proof gear on the floor and hose it when I do the bike if it gets too stinky, then hang at let dry :D
My Attack trousers commuter / riding in wet weather gear are well into there 2 year now without issue.
