I have no problems doing it from stationary on the rear wheel, I've no idea why I struggle on the trail!

Riding drops and jumps on the trail requires a much different technique from trials style stationary drops. You basically do the first part of a manual as you approach the drop/jump, pumping it. The faster you go the easier it is.

Single thing that improved my technique was looking ahead into the distance where you want to go, and do not ever look down! If you look down, you will probably go down!

I was on the boundary of soft/x-soft, but still couldn't get more than 130mm travel with the soft spring. X-soft all day. I weigh 10.5 stone fwiw.

I find the sintered Juicy pads really good, they seem to last ages and are powerful.

6' on an '09 17.5" frame here. The ETT seems ideal for me, but I did need to get a slightly longer seat post to get enough leg extension. The standard bonty post is quite short.

I think the xc700 forks were among the worst hit for problems in '08, along with 55s and others. Personally I would steer well clear even if the price is amazing.

Ok I got it, a bit of inner tube and pliers got it moving. Now I need to look into tuning. Can anyone tell me how many "clicks" of adjustment each high and low adjuster should have?

How do you know which way to turn it..?

That video is great! However it only really shows the servicing of the rebound assembly. I think I'll need to disassemble the compression damper unit to locate the source of my particular issue.

Is that fitted using a BB adapter? My '09 Remedy doesn't have ISCG mounts.

I can't see how you search a specific forum, eg classifieds.

There may be a spacer in the air spring? Could be an OEM travel setting for a particular sized bike.

Vans are expensive to insure unfortunatley. Get a minibus and black out the windows/rip the seats out!

My Juicy Fives do this, and have done since new. Do update the thread if you discover the cause!

W2 is ace, I rate the Wall final descent as the best downhill there tbh.

2.1 High Rollers are silly narrow and no where near as good as the 2.35, I would go with 2.35 front and back. They are roughly equivalent to normal 2.1" size.

They have NEVER seen a pressure wash.

    Bingo!

I hardly ever wash my bike and ride it in all conditions and bearings last for years. Only been riding full suspension for a year mind, and my first one got nicked 6 months ago so I have no personal experience with pivot bearings/bushings.

Once the partition is back you just need to format it, then you will be able to copy data do it! Right click the drive and select format then follow instructions.

I think they cost £180+ new, but as fox stantions are prone to wear there is high demand. Maybe you could get £100 for them if they are not worn?

And due to power losses in distribution probably produce more net pollution than a normal car!

I rode the Brechfa Enduro on flats, it may be a slight disadvantage on the climbs but I doubt the difference is huge.

Slightly slacker angles, slightly higher BB. I used to run a 130mm fork on an 80mm frame and it was great!

I'm no expert, but I think you would risk over driving the led and even the battery catching fire :(. Afaik the torch itself has no protection.

Don't know about LX, but SLX have dual release which is handy. The windows come off in an identical fashion to m770 XT.

Rings would have zero effect on tides as they are evenlly distributed around the earth, the net gravitational pull is zero.

There would be a constant shadow that would move with the seasons, so near the equator you might be in shadow for long periods of the year 🙁

Fox 32 and 36 forks are available with tapered steerers.

You would need a replacement end cap, but I'm not sure you can buy those on their own.

There is a good guide on the trek website. Basically you keep adjusting pressure and sitting kitted up on the bike until it sits at 25-30% compressed.

So using a pivot like all the other suspension designs is better than no pivot? Who woulda thought!

I think the Juicy 3,5,7 are all interchangable with regards levers/calipers.

If they are the same as previous years, it is a simple as buying a U-Turn coil and bolting it in in place of the air spring. Very easy.

The problem with peer guardian is that it only blocks known IPs from directly connecting. All the lawyers do is get your IP from a tracker so it's essentially useless.

Mine are great! As I only weigh 10.5 stone I went for the soft spring, but even with a medium spring they worked brilliantly, much much better than air forks imo.

You can't adjust preload on U-Turn forks, only buy a new spring. The cheapest place I found them was at TFT but even there they are £40!
