Can’t diagnose from photo, need proper history then some diagnostic tests.
    Whats worse hot or cold?
\how long does pain last after hot or cold hits it?
Does it come on without heat?
    Sore on biting?
Based on that I would then test the teeth with hot and cold

    Diagnosis and treatment to follow.

Shocked at prices some places charge for these, as a dentist we buy them for prob about 3 quid a box of 100.

I still quite like goodbarrier cream for use when working on cars and bikes tbh, maybe because I wear gloves so much at work.

Depends on your dentist/vet/doctor etc but if you were a patient of mine I’d be quite happy to get you a box or two at cost (as long as you were one of those pleasant patients who turns up on time, pays their bills and doesn’t walk into the surgery with the words “I hate dentists!”)

    Reading Tyler Hamiltons book atm.

Apparently the Ferrari guy said that low cadence tires the muscles, high cadence the cardiovascular system.

I’m thinking that as EPO targets the cardio system Lance increased his cadence due to EPO?

With such a short period of time to go I’d probably just try and get out as much as possible but do some intervals when ur out, short sprints at 110%

If flat has high ceilings the pulley rack things are quite good.
When I lived in Morningside I bought a garage to keep the bikes in, concreted in a ground anchor and secured with a motorbike chain

Sold the garage at a nice profit when moved away, the parking regulations certainly helped the prices!

    Prob not milk…..
Ideal if finishing for the day but not if heading out again.

There is no ideal for everyone, find some drinks gels etc and try them before the event.
I remember using a new gel on a long ride once and getting severe cramps.

    Probably deter the amateur.
Chained together? Will probably just cart the two away and deal with lock in private.
I had this in my lock up in Edinburgh

Coupled it with a hefty ground anchor

    Fellow norn iron here

I’ve been using hermes for ebay stuff, don’t add extra for NI.

Some companies seem to only use 1 courier and if they add extra for NI then tough. I’ve had a smaller company offer to stick a small item in a packet and post when their courier wanted 5 quid or so for an envelope.

Brother wanted 4 landrover tyres a few years ago, he was quoted 10 quid by one company and £150 by another!

Have a garage full of tyres and really should put a few on to wear them out or get the camera out and get on the ebay.

But tend to use these pretty much all year

Set Racing Ralphs, use most of summer, if getting dicey stick Ron on front.

Depths of winter and some wet muddy rooty trails I’ve been using Ron on the front with a Maxxis Medusa on the rear.

I think that you get used to a tyre and adapt your riding to it rather than having a shed load of tyres and figuring out “what tyre for?”

Those with 4×4’s in pics above did you not consider a spare wheel mount?
had 1 on my Freelander and Defender, found it easy to use and could open the door with bikes on

You might get lucky having treatment abroad but then again you may have a lot of problems.

I had a patient in the other week who requires a full mouth rebuild after shoddy work abroad and can think of quite a few others in a similar situation. They are all ending up paying more than their initial treatment would have cost in the UK and ending up with a dentition with a worse long term prognosis.

    Some good info here
    http://www.gdc-uk.org/newsandpublications/publications/publications/going%20abroad%20for%20your%20dental%20care.pdf

You may find that if you have problems some dentists in this country would not wish to treat you, basically if there is a problem and they try to sort it they then become involved in the problem and may be liable….

I had another patient a few years ago who had some implant work done abroad using some obscure system and there wasn’t a dentist in the UK who could correct the work. Basically implant systems and their connectors vary (think Torx screws and other similar security type screws) and may not be interchangeable. If you have the actual implant placed and the crown fails it may be difficult to replace.

I’ve swopped from SC Blur classic to an on-one whippet

    http://www.on-one.co.uk/i/q/YBSH214712/on_one_whippet_x9_mountain_bike_2013___white_and_red___18_inch

Built up myself with a 2nd hand frame.

    Very light and fast.

Nice light wheelset and light tyres makes a great xc race rig

    http://simonkingston.co.uk/simon/Site_2/Implants.html

    Good stuff on sites above.
Was it xrayed at the time?
    Options are probably as suggested.
If extracted initially a denture for a few months while healing
Possibly 1 implant with a bridge attached but difficult without seeing it
Most of my patients seem very happy after implant treatment(I don’t do them but refer to a specialist)
Stages are basically implant placement(cut gum drill hole in bone and stick in implant, stitch over and leave)
Leave a number of months to heal
Cut hole to implant attach plastic tooth for gum healing around it
Leave month or so then impressions for a porcelain tooth.
    Prob about 6-9 months treatment
    Price seems in ballpark
