Micra lives on my keychain. Mainly used for scissors occasionally screwdriver, generally for batteries for kids toys and of course bottle opener.

Juice main use has been opening wine when camping. Used other stuff on it too but plenty tools in house and there’s a tool kit with pliers vice grips screwdrivers etc in both our cars

    That’s one I use
    Lifts disco 3 ok

When I had a defender I had a hi lift Jack but tended to just use a bottle jack for punctures.
    Bottle Jack much easier carried

Heat source as in the transformer?

    Cavity is plasterboard, no insulation

Might be an option to sink plug socket into wall and have transformer hidden behind tv

It’s a converted attic so there is a crawl space under eaves so could d stick transformer in there and lengthen wire to tv

Decent chain and ground anchor, forget about cycle locks, you don’t need anything portable so read reviews onmotorbike locks
Almax seem to be one of best, I had one of their chains, was never tested but compared to anything else it seemed much heavier and chunkier

ok trail rat calm down just a suggestion.

What tools do you want to store?
Where and when do you use them?

I’m not saying hang everything you own on the walls but a mixture of this and smaller toolboxes may be better than a large chest which is too large to bung in car or bring into the house.

I have large garage with 14ft workbench with couple vices, bench grinder and bike workstand.

One end of bench has bike workstand, pegboard on wall beside this with shelving below. Toolbox there with some spare innertubes, chain, cables and other things which I would take to a race, other things added to toolbox from pegboard if required.

Socket sets in boxes which can be lifted. Spanners are in tool rolls which hang on wall but can be lifted to wherever need be.

Free set scrounged from an office of these for some other tools such as rivet gun, stapler, various testers and other less commonly used things at bench end.

Small metal top box with drawers for various bits not in main socket set such as wobble bars, torx sets and other mixed spanners.

Driveway is gravel so wheeled toolbox no good, anyway any car servicing tends to happen in garage.

Various saws, screwdrivers pliers etc all on pegboard behind workbench. Have a few wooden tote boxes which are handy to throw a few things in if need to do a job in the house

Anyway what I’m trying to say is
look at what tools you have
look at what tools you hope to have
where and when do you use them
plan what needs to be kept together, what is used regularly, what is used once or twice a year

You can get proper fridge freezers for a car but v expensive £500 +

They can be hired for 50 odd quid a week

    Try here

I have an electric coolbox but as said previously you need ice blocks as well. When out for the day here we tend to use ice blocks and stick a couple of small bottles of water in the freezer as well and put them in it.

Travelled around France and Spain camping a few years ago and we just used it to bring stuff back from the supermarket that we were going to use within 24 hours or so, as said its a cooler not a fridge. Keep it well shaded and it will be more efficient.

Mine built out of old wooden shelving from a garden centre.
    Mostly 4×2 timber
I bolted 4×2 to wall then there’s sheeting over top and some strong fence posts holding it up.
I then laid scaffold boards along front. This gives an area for serious hammering, thicker wood to bolt vices to and gives a well behind to brush rubbish into.
