I’m a landrover man, well used to be..

had series, Defender, discovery and freelanders

    tyres make huge difference

Electronic gizmos make big difference too, remember getting a freelander somewhere a Defender wouldn’t go, basically defender got cross axled  but electric gizmos in freelander coupled with light weight kept it going

how much ground clearance you need?

Been with auto aid for about 14 years now

covers myself and wife in any car we’re travelling in for 40 odd quid a year.

have had to call them out 3 or 4 times and arrived quickly with no hassles each time.

even changed a tyre for the wife on my T5

one occasion she put petrol in the diesel they offered to drain tank etc but there was an extra charge, my mates garage much cheaper but they towed her there for free

theres a suggestion you had to claim back the cost but anytime we used them the garage just said it was ok and they would sort it

I have the atera for my T5

extension for fourth bike as well

very solid bit of kit and only one which allowed me to open the tailgate

have a rack on roof as well but only ever used for road bike

to be honest rack only ever gets used for holidays and big family trips away as normally lob bikes in back

firstly What have you got to put in it?

where are you going to store said items

what can you hang from ceiling walls Etc

    what size is it?

difficult to give advice, I’m lucky enough to have a 600 sq ft garage now I live in the country but when I lived in the city my car didn’t even fit in the lock up

security? Alarm? CCTV? Ground anchors for locking bikes?

    wifi?

    tv?

i built workbench then put kitchen wall cabinets above

    led lighting strips are great

air compressor  with dual outlet, 1 at bench other going to extending reel at door so I can check cars

plenty of electrical sockets, easier put in at start, also extending reel

Portstewart is national trust and you have to pay

castlerock downhill and benone you can drive on to and are free

none of the others have access to vehicles

Takes experience to know how to drive on the sand and where it’s safe to do so. Lots of people come up here and get stuck, have towed a few out in my time.

    Pinnacle looks good

suppose could always stick a Reba or similar on it

weight not bad and I suppose there’s the chance of picking up some lightweight 26 wheels

Might be easier to find 26 disc wheels to stick on a 27.5 frame I’m thinking

As Paul said the area of extraction and the area of the symptoms don’t really match up

One problem that occurs in that area is an OAF however your symptoms don’t really match up

    Following as thinking of similar.

im happy enough reversing but occasionally have to hitch up a heavy trailer on gravel so it’s not easy dragging it to the towball

seen a camera which displays on your phone which might be easiest for me but maybe not for everyday use.

guess you’ll need a feed from the reversing light to switch it on
