    The army section i work with actually have to do pft/cft etc

    I'm vaguely familiar with the aircrew training and this will stand you in good stead. IIRC the most physically demanding phase is the one administered by the RAF regt which would suggest that the Army yomping etc would be majorly beneficial. Maybe suggest that you swallow your pride and get thrashed by/with the Army lads (it might hurt a little at first!). Also, if they are doing PFT/CFTs, they must have a PTI, could you not approach him/her?
    EDIT; Sorry just read your last post. Compartment syndrome is a very good reason to lose weight. Go to a running shop and have your gait analysed and don't skimp on the running shoes!

    How old are you and what's your BPFA/BFT time?
    Have you been to see your unit PTI?

    I read that review as Turner won followed by the tracer then the blur then the 575 (HOW? the flexy chainstays made the bike unridable apparently) followed by the titus then the tomac.
    This was the way I read it regardless of the inconsistent scoring system.
    Mind you if I wanted a DW bike, I would get the Ibis. I briefly demoed a tracer and it feels very solid.

    REAL men wear pink shirts.

    No CFH, they don't. What's acceptable in London is not necessarily acceptable in the rest of the world.

    I didn't think so, you're too pleasant and also too young, I think.

    I think saddles are expensive for what they are. Except charge spoons, which are quite fair. From an engineering and manufacturing POV, whats the difference between a Charge spoon and a Fizik Gobi?

    Lester, I'm from the south and I think you are nothing but a cockstand.
    So far, you have claimed that you're a hardman by offering someone out, wealthy, to have a beautiful bird, 45 bikes in a year, a chalet (did you say you had a lambo?)and a high IQ (which you have not demonstrated in any way). Bet you were in the SAS too.
    I'm calling bullsh1t.
    I reckon you're 17 years old, 5'8", 9 stone and still sucking on mammys t1t.
    What do you reckon Moz?

    Old internet myths that wouldn't keep being recycled if people bothered to spend 5 minutes on Google.

    Only if youre selective about what you read. I am yet to be convinced that any of the defenders of the Prius have accounted for the embedded energy (specifically due to the nickel)

    I have got an ERIKS supplier near me (they're national) and they've been happy to price match ebay shop sellers and BETD with SKF bearings (so no wait for postage).

    To be fair, the comparison with the Hummer is skewed but it is still pretty sh1t never the less.
    He's right, embedded energy cannot be disregarded.

    Oh dear, thanks reggie.
    Would I need one of the bearings (£15) or two (£30) for a BB?
    Otherwise, does anyone have an idea which BB manufacturers don't use custom bearings and so should be cheaper to replace?
    Thanks again.

    I will never buy;
    Avid brakes; total total shyte, pain to bleed plasticky feel (love my Hopes though).
    SRAM; PITA to set up and shifts when it feels like it. I think this is personal preference though.
    Trek; trying to eliminate online sales (and savings for us).
    A bike with specialized in house shocks (how many replacements?)

    I will never buy from;
    SSC; the blokes a nobend.
    Dave Hinde; see above.

    I will happily buy;
    Anything from Hope, CS and fully servicable.
    Turner; warranty is excellent (follows bike)
    Intense; Pure quality
    Camelbak, Oakley

    I beleive that this report was compiled by Faber Maunsell, who are by no means idiots. During my low carbon consultant training it was indicated that this report does not sit comfortably with the powers that be.

    Car parking does generate good Revenue and my concern is it all goes back into the Fishing ponds. No monies are fed back into the trails so we are left with trails that are slowly degenerating and wearing away

    That was what I thought.
    So, no more GC car park for me.

    backhander

    Well I think it's only right for the local community to benefit from the trail centres. However, I'm not entirely happy that glyncorrwg ponds pay nothing towards the maintenance of the trails.
    I'd rather see some of my hard-earned being used to enable the trails to be expanded than pay towards the upkeep of a fishing pond.

    backhander

    Njee, should have put it better.
    As I understand it, the ponds do not currently receive the revenue from the building and that may be about to change.

    backhander
    Free Member

    If the revenue's currently being used to maintain the trails by the FC, and the revenue will now go to the ponds, how are the trails going to reveive the funding for maintenance?
    The new cafe should surely be aimed at the fishermen and we should find somewhere else?
