The Ortleib rubber dry bags are a mega piece of kit. I’ve done countless water crossings and have never had a wet gonk bag. Don’t settle for the cheap jobbies, only Ortleib.

I’d like to have my tyres changed by a giant Hamster at ATS.

Don’t know about the Alpkit ones, but I’ve used snugpak ones an awful lot and given the toughest life they could have.
One thing I will say is the military green ones seem to be made tougher with reinforced box in the foot area and harder wearing shell. The civilian ones I’ve tried haven’t been so robust.
Mine has travelled with me to the arseholes of the world over the last 10 years and is still going strong.

Can’t we just harness the giant hamsters?

That would just be cruel though wouldn’t it? I wouldn’t wish that on the poor Hamsters.
We need to release the Hamsters, let them run free.

Could we not put them in giant hamster cages to feed energy to the grid?

Guilty as charged but I’m only 14 stone with a reasonable waistline so it could be worse :D

Try psyclewerx or strata, both lapierre dealers in Bristol.
There’s a demo day at newnham park sometime soon I think

Look at other outdoor sports, a kayak, diving kit, climbing rack, surfing kit, hang glider etc etc
    It’s all expensive!

Hmmm 10% isn’t to be sniffed at but 20% is better. Credit with the store is fine as I want a few bits anyway.
I’ll check out wheelbase as well.

Well if Niravna offer 20% credit on the bike to spend on anything else, they may well be receiving my money!
    Great info thanks rewski.

Hmmmmm hippos are badass. Rhinos are a bit more badass though.
Whatever breed you are, you ain’t standing after being charged by one of those. Natures tanks.

Actually grizzlies are about 80 – 90% vegetarian.
I find them remarkable animals, 800lbs and can run over 30 mph.
No question in a row, the grizzly wins every time if only because of the claws.

It is lovely though mate, I’m very jealous. Having said that I could never do justice to a bike like that.

Build an off grid lakeside property in Nelson BC, buy a nice apartment in Vancouver and a nice house in Whistler. Land rover defender and a maserati quattroporte. Maybe buy a bike shop as a hobby.
Take the family to Necker island, BVI. Pay family and friends debts.
Lots of bikes, lots of holidays. I wouldn’t be planning to spend much time at all in the UK. My charities of choice would have some nice surprises also.

Be nice to have a middle ground party; not acting for the benefit of their financiers (banks, murdoch, unions etc)
Just for what is in the best interest of the country as a whole. Problem would be financing election campaigns etc.
As it is, we just use our own opinions on who is the best of a bad bunch (well I do)

I do wonder how england would vote if there was a realistic alternative to Con/Lib/Lab here.
Instead we only have extreme niche parties.

I wouldn’t say it’s very rocky but it depends what you’re used to I suppose.
You can get around whites and the wall in a morning quite comfortably.
Penhydd still closed, expect singletrack closures to the already singletrack deficient (IMO) skyline.
Great riding though, just not enough of it anymore.

Weekend maybe a bit much, only 2 1/2 trails open. Stop off at cwmcarn on the way.

I’ve not always been his biggest fan but he has done well at Wasps.
Whatever happened in the pub, I feel quite sad for anyone losing their job.
Looks like “handsome Gav” got another crack of the whip though.

Catnash, what do you think of it?
How does it compare to your previous bikes? Its an interesting prospect if they bring the frame only to the UK (price dependent)
If the price’s right, I think they’d sell loads.

catnash, how did you get a stumpy evo frame?
I thought they weren’t available as a frame in the UK?
