Tell the local scallies that it's worth £thousands. Or bribe them with cider to "lose" it.

    Shakey boat squadron (as was)!
I think the lines between the regt and shakey boats are blurred more than ever ATM. Poole have been working in Afg while Hereford concentrated on Iraq. Not many water ops recently apparently.
    Either could handle this.

Cancel my last, it's a campsite and you will pay up to £460 for a weekend. In a tent. Of course, its environmentally friendly so there's no comfort afforded 🙄
    ****. That.

If you think their clothing is expensive, check the f***ing hotel thingy they've got. Can't find the link, maybe he's going to concentrate on that?

Stick around man, you'll not meet a bunch of more tolerant, understanding non-judgmental people.
I admire your "creative" writing, could you do an insult for me please?

Simonfbarns you have a face like a shaved gerbils ass half way through a sh1t after 6 months of constipation

Sorry Mods, I really just wanted to preserve this for posterity (delete if you must)

Now that I like. In fact it's the first bike you've had that looks in proportion IMO. I have a feeling that you're going to like this one.

I went to the help for heroes rugby game at Twickenham last year (brilliant it was!).
Heston was flipping burgers on one of the shacks. I was thoroughly impressed that a michelin starred chef gave up his saturday to show his support.

I have 2 nice-ish bikes and I take good care of them.
They cost me a lot of money and if I wanted a bike that rides/looks/performs less well (which a poorly maintained bike will), I'd have got cheaper kit to start with. Do I do my kit justice? I don't really know, I'm an average rider I suppose.
It's kind of like an ugly bird with an expensive haircut really.

Dirtynap, I had to leave it with them for a week.
It also has a small gold flake in the laquer which you cannot really make out from the pic but it is metallic. I'll try to get some better daylight pics put up.

The powdercoat cost me £55 including shot blasting. They new to mask all pivot points and BB/HS. Decals £25.

HAs anybody suggested the Athertons yet?

Yeah, Rachaels special backhander anti stalking requirements would be interesting

Hmmm, you'd have to be very careful not to lose most of your heat through the transfer to outside. insulation could well "absorb" a lot of the heat too so it may prove better to have a reflective layer behind the coil. Could cause problems with damp but maybe not on the upper levels. Not sure about thermal mass, I'd have thought thermal bridging would prove more of a problem. I take it your build will come under part L1?
Sorry re read your post, if only using on internal walls then most of my notes are irrelevant! Sorry!

It would raise your MRT, but would not heat you (or provide you with thermal comfort) any where near as efficiently as the flooring will (because you're stood on the floor and heat rises, well sort of).
BTW, what is your thermal store? Why do you need extra heating?

Whatever Hora you're still a knob. Ask anyone. Even your mum thinks your a knob and your dad only tolerates you because he knows, yes that's right that his son is indeed a knob.

Slightly OT but rewatching the Conscientious Objectors /Ian Hislop last night I totally disagree. They were just as brave as those who go to war.

I've just realised why everybody thinks you're a knob.

Yogrant, can't do it man sorry. I look terrible in lycra and would need copious female assistance to shave my legs and I don't hear any volunteers (No means NO, Simon).
Theres just nothing that sets my heart aflutter bikewise any more. No more excited "finds" in the classifieds or on ebay, no more sneaking a peak at a manufacturers website. I'm very happy with the Intense but monogamy seems so….forever.

Kramer, I'm not really shy. The 5.5 is just a bit faster although the forks may have been an issue. SFB, any reason for the choice of colour? Is blue in some way symbolic to eunuchs?
Tootall, we're off to cwmcarn the weekend (some novice riders coming too) if you fancy it?

She's already bejewelled in Thomson and has just been rebuilt after a trip to th epowdercoaters and new bearings. Just awaiting the custom graphics from Slik now. It's just occurred to me (duh) that this was done out of guilt! Just like flowers for the mrs after a trip to a t1tty bar!

Turned out to be quite an upsetting thread in the end. I'm all melancholy now. I actually genuinely feel sympathy for Ernie.

Fair one Rents but the BFT is an absolute minimum level.
I would disagree with Ti29er for the moment, you need very steady state runs for as long as you can manage ensuring that you stay hydrated. Start 5 mile min and work up to 12 milers (all in trainers).
Really mate, you need to be training when everyone else is sleeping.
Fartleks, hillreps, intervals etc are a bit advanced for you ATM, I think.

It's pretty bad that they're using the BMI scale. Even I'm overweight according to that (trust me I'm not). Don't let that rubbish dishearten you and I believe that when you get to the required fitness, you can request that a doctor examine you and possibly receive a bye (you'd have to check on this).
