am i right in thinking that AS and SNP simply put up the business tax rate to compensate for the “bedroom tax” ie. buying votes and popularity at the expense of jobs and the economy – at the recent budget
thats the way to encourage scottish business.

certainly his YES arguments seem to be “there… there.. little scottish people, i’ll pat you on the head and tell you everything is going to be fine” despite everything being to the contrary ( despite the BBC or any other Media coverage actually giving him proper decent questioning and interrogation over his claims.)

I use them all the time, and yes they do flavor the bladder if you dont rinse it out thoroughly – but , IMHO, so what, i like the flavor anyway.

The amount of mistakes and crashes he made in that season, and, as the McLaren team situation imploded and they split their effort into 2 drivers, both new to the team and the car, he still couldnt find any form in the latter half when it counted the most, and it was Kimi that more than often was ahead, after his season was plagued with mechanicals and issues – indeed Kimi had to let him past just to keep his title hopes alive….This was the season of his famous 7? 8? spins at British GP, and his inability to be overtaken or to overtake without crashing into Lewis.

Instead of bouncing back , he fell back and was never a contender again.

I dont like Massa much, i thought he had a few good races but was flattered by a better car and then shown up by better drivers.
BUT
i think its awful that HE had to announce his departure, and Ferrari did not do it for him, thanking him for his years of service and when he had shone slightly in a race, being asked to move over, he should have got a better farwell from Ferrari than doing it himself.

i agree with Mr Plow, i mean Alonso got in and lived and breathed ferrari, learning italian and pushing 110% out of that car, if he has to spur on engineers and workers saying that they need to improve so be it, he has earned the right with his outstanding drives and overtaking, just as he has the right to get criticism of he thrown the car down the gravel trap when in the lead….

lets face it, Kimi won his only WDC off the back of the far superior Schumacher/Brawn/Todt engineering masterpiece of the 2006 248-F1,
he does no PR, he doesnt care about the Fans, he goes home as soon as he can, stopping only for an ice cream.
Ferrari + kimi = mistake, and it will be a sliding slope downwards once more for the team – something started when Luca and Stefano Domenicali started to steer that ship more.

I do, because I suspect Ferrari’s pace is more around the Massa times, and therefore for Kimi to move looks a bit daft considering he usually finishes in front of him – but then he did say people may think his move will be “daft”

@boblo – no i understand its not frame specific – all the previous frames i had, had downtube adjuster capability – just didnt realise this didnt.

am now also an owner. 🙂
BB in the end was a sinch. ultegra 6700 went straight into the SM-FC7800 already installed in the frame.

agree above about rear lights on country roads, and to be honest wearing hi viz clothing too. I run a rear light on the saddle post and one down on the rear stays.
as front the front,
i have a magicshine and its pretty bright on max. setting.
the thing i find is you have to have it on high and set to a longer distance so you can see far enough ahead in case of potholes, dirt, branches, cows and sheeep on the road, but they do get some nasty glances and flashes from oncoming other road users.
as soon as i see a car coming i’ll switch it to lower setting.

i wonder if they would be better placed lower down on the bike (not sure they can, or where they might go -? front fork?)

sad news. dont know what to say really, we’ve all voiced the same kind of opinions on this kind of thing over and over again,
