I have been stocking up to at least have a separate two week stash of food. The best way to do this is to do it gradually. The main reason I have done this is because my partner is a nurse and also celiac, and I fear what the NHS will be asking of her in the next few months, since she is an outstanding nurse.
Whilst I have no doubt there will be enough food, it’s the getting it to our house that concerns me. We only loved to this area of uk a year or so ago, and her close by family is on the risk groups.

Call me paranoid but at least this is one thing less to worry about in what was already a terribly stressful 2020 for us.

I’ve got a phd thesis to write, not sure if that counts as entertainment.

Mount & Blade: Bannerlord is coming out, so there’s that.

Partner is a nurse, the understaffing was already bad enough before all this, I am concerned what the upcoming months will look like.

Those bose are one of the comfiest headphones I’ve ever owned, especially considering the are noise cancelling. The new boss whilst having a better sound quality aren’t as comfortable.

Potato pc meaning it will run on almost any type of pc that is mildly up to date, no graphics card or fancy cpu necessary. It’s only when you start rendering that a graphics card is necessary in my experience.

Are you sure he just doesn’t want to buy new shiny pc? Which is a good thing to have, specially since nowadays hardware is still useful 3 years later.

Cad stuff will work on almost any potato pc. Are you sure he will be able to use the same software on his home pc? These days it tends to be quite flexible. On the other hand having a solid pc at home is always good

I am Spanish, and grew up very close to the region (C.Valenciana), and love the region, so it hits close to home, I wrote 3 different replies specifically, but then realised, I am only going to get more pissed off. I will only reply, the coverage carried out by the British newspapers at the time was incredibly poor, so I hope that wasn’t your source of information.

To those asking, why are some people in Catuluna desperate for independence? Its simple, money. The supporters of this movement do not want a part of the income they generate to go to the most disadvantaged areas and would rather keep it to themselves. Many of the top supporters of this movement are wealthy Catalans waiting on being able to dig in more. They’ve been indoctrinating the region for the past 20 years, changing school content and textbooks in order to achieve this. ….and you thought Brexit was bad. Yes there are other reasons such as regional identity and central government mismanagement(money again), and they are I see the point of anger, since my region too has been hit by questionable central government policies, however an ILLEGAL referundum and unconstitutional unilateral independence declaration(however short this declaration lasted) is not the way.

Why was the referendum illegal? There was no agreement between central government and regional government on how to carry it out.

draconian anti terrorist laws? Are you pros Indy people out your mind? Catalonia started an illegal referendum(of which it’s results the same pro independence government had control) declared unilaterally its independence and then proceeded to riot. All whilst forgetting Spain is still divided by the civil war we had almost a hundred years ago. The result of this has been an exodus of businesses and money, of which who knows how long it will take to recover. All this after 20 years of regional funded indoctrination.

I would go to a bodybuilders gym, if they are dedicated bodybuilders they’ll just be your average joe, but with bodybuilding as their hobby much like mtb is ours.

It’s not as simple as that, some areas of the UK have their expertise. People in technical roles still have to travel.

I do agree that more efforts should be made on being able to transmit information without having to be there physically.

How does this decision compare to other European countries?

The 100 is somewhat good, it’s looks and starts like a Space teen drama but it then takes a couple of pretty dark turns. The characters are also confronted with tough choices and the female lead does a good job at not being a Mary Sue.

Altere carbon is not bad either.

The new Star Trek was painful to watch.

Battle star galáctica is probably the one to go, unlike some other shoes it has aged pretty well.

Going into big cities like Madrid and Barcelona are the exception, or maybe it’s just the C.Valenciana that is obsessed with driving.

If I lived in those, I’d probably own a motorbike.

However I do think the trend is changing, people are demanding higher accessibility especially for bikes.

Spain also depends very heavily on cars, more so than the uk.

It depends on the region and area. There are several protected areas where you are only allowed to walk and not cycle. A lot of the land is owned by the state.

If the area has the label “paraje protegido” then it’s likely a no no to cycle through the path/single track, however fireroads are always okay.

Like always I would recommend asking the local bike shop as they will know more of the area.

Why is it so confusing? Well blame the lefty ecowarriors( or eco talibans as we call them in Spain).

I kept my 6 for 5 years, now have an 11 and loving it. I would wait for the 2020 models, I have a feeling they’ll be something special. I only changed mine because it could not be used as a smart phone anymore and battery never lasted me a full working day.

If the car isn’t valuable clay it and put some sealant on it yourself. Cost of the process will be about £20-30. You can also polish in between but, why bother if it’s not valuable.

If it is valuable, get a detailer to sort it out.

Maybe she attracts hate for similar reasons that corbyn does? It seems that free brexit and two elections done of you haven’t learnt a thing.

    @darthpunk

I would disagree, the democrats are yet to push the process forward. Imho they messed up the impeachment, the process was sloppy and rushed, considering the republican dominated senate.
The process now goes to the senate where it will probably be rejected.

If this is a move in order to secure reelection, it is probably more to do with improving his image as the commander in chief and satisfying the military complex.

I have Netflix and amazon prime, which at a time amounted to the same as a tv license.

I wish they ditched the tv license or reduced specifically to watching bbc. I cannot comprehend why I have to pay for a license to watch discovery channel through my paid amazon prime/sky through my paid internet.

They could start by making laws for right to repair. Where stuff has to last or should be reasonable to repair. Also start looking at retrofitting vehicles with technology that makes them more efficient.

Why are you all struggling to understand that nobody wanted Corbyn? It was said lots of times in this thread yet you wouldn’t listen.

Many people I know that wouldn’t ever talk about politics would actually mention how they were disgusted and feared what Corbyn and his followers could cause whilst in power.

You lot are supposed to be tolerant, but at the moment are acting like bigots.

Ed Millband had the charm of a wet mouldy sock.

Also Mariano Rajoy was elected in Spain, and he has a bushy beard.

Yeah sure, Corbyn’s problem is that he was just too hard working and detailed.

Also, the arrogance displayed by some people is despicable. If poor people vote labour they are fighting for their rights, if poor people vote for conservative then they are racists/fascists. Just admit it, you don’t care about them, it’s power.

In addition, it seems these days that labour also caters to a specific branch of xenophobia.

The brown fans are fugly( I’ve got 2) they’ve just released new ones in more palatable colours.

Glad it’s worked out it looks amazing, a lot less intrusive that what I was thinking.

Go to the build a pc subreddit and ask there.

Personally I would have swapped the case fans for some noctua fans, since they are incredibly quiet.

Another way of doing it is to wait for sales. Within the budget you have, pick the one that has the greatest discount. Then check for online reviews and what not. It might not be the best in its segment, but a £1000 tv will always be better than a £500 one.

I couldn’t care less what the sign means, I find it hilarious how even knowing that you are being played you still play into it. I don’t mean this specific instance, I mean the events which led to this symbol being considered white power, and the perpetuation of such.

If he is doing the circle game, well fair play, I’ve seen under 25s (thats what he looks like) do far dumber things for a laugh. If he is an actual racist, well what a retard for being a racist and what a retard for announcing it in national TV.

What does concern me is how happily people would cause a witch hunt on this guy. Something that would have an unpredictable effect on him.

I wonder which bit of my post will be quoted for the gotcha moment.

Perfect circle game placement, at the waist so to not break the in line of sight rule nor the above the shoulders rule. Out of the genital area so that the other guy trying to get the +5 doesn’t accidentally damage you . Casually resting on his body so that its not too obvious and people around cant get you for a +5 from behind. I’m a 90s kid, is there nobody else that played that game?

The white power sign is meant to be the other way round. The three fingers make a W, and the circle and your wrist a P.

Even if it was the white power sign, you could have all ignored it and not fed the trolling.

I have heard of government grants being available for renovating old properties in Spain, however that was in C.Valenciana. I wouldnt be suprised if there was something available for the combination of autonomo/old building.

You’d think Labour would have an easy time beating the conservatives given these past years.
