I guess the answer is no, it doesn’t get tiring.
I´m a spanish immigrant, so could you explain the Alan Partridge reference? Also, was I correct with that statement?
baboonzFree MemberYou could have argued that James Bond could use masks if infiltrating in such territories, or that they could develop gadgets that temporarily play with an enemies perception, instead you chose to be condescending.
I would also like for James Bond to stop being such a supersoldier. I never enjoyed the pouting crossfitter look.
baboonzFree MemberI went on 3 week courses/trips to Germany when I was that age, we would go to class during the weekdays from 9-3ish. People from all over the world that didn´t know each other would attend. Since I hadn´t travelled internationally until then it was a great life experience. A fraction of it was funded by me spending the rest of the summer(summer holidays in spain are long) working full time in a hotel.
Also, the price seems right.
baboonzFree MemberIt must be tiring repeating the same chip in the shoulder pseudo-marxist Tory blaming in every thread. I wouldn’t be surprised if the same people complaining about the tory cuts, would also complain if police numbers where drastically increased in high crime areas.
IMHO what is alarming people is that the old rules, be aware of your surroundings, and play it smart don’t seem to be working anymore, but then again I could be completely wrong.
Interesting info, I am personally not a fan of stop and search, the guidelines seem too broad, the concept seems authoritarian and it has the potential to go wrong very quick:
https://www.gov.uk/police-powers-to-stop-and-search-your-rightsBy signal-to-noise ratio going to shit, do you mean that the stdev was too high or that there were no identifiable trends?
baboonzFree MemberAs much as I´d like Idris Elba to play 007-not cause he is black, but for my appreciation of his character Stringer Bell, a black spy in Russia is a hard sell. Even more so than a black pro-swimmer in a quirky Welsh school in netflix´s “Sex Therapy”.
baboonzFree MemberBoth are petty, you are effectively discriminating due to skin color.
baboonzFree MemberI´d keep pestering them the case on the wheels. With big companies I find the best way is to complain complain and keep complaining to them-that is if you have a case.
baboonzFree MemberHow much heat do you want? The province of Castellon(not the city, the city is a dump), Spain, has montains for days whilst also being next to the sea. It’s also cheaper than your typical tourist places and food is great. I grew up in that area so maybe I am biased, but its similar to Alicante, but with less heat and less tourists.
baboonzFree MemberThe marked stuff a glentress is a riot to ride with a hard tail, I used to regularly ride it with my bird zero before it got stolen….
baboonzFree MemberNot all, but there is definitely a lot of crap. Also prices have soared over the past years.
baboonzFree MemberFor short distances you can just rock up and buy the ticket, prices wont vary(unless this has now changed), for longer distances you are better off prebooking.
For the trip you are describing, your best option is to fly to malaga and drive to granada with a rental.
This may be more expensive but it avoids you having to deal with the unpredictability of Spanish public transport.
Information on tickets can be found in http://www.renfe.com as others have indicated.
baboonzFree MemberStarship troopers by Robert e Henlein.
The forever war by joe haldamanbaboonzFree MemberAs much as I would like for property prices to drop a good 20%, I have the feeling this is not going to happen. The artificially constrained supply of the housing market will probably substantially reduce the drop.
baboonzFree MemberNot interested in having a discussion about Scotland. I didn’t even mention it in my post, but I am in giving some much needed background information to your statement-which I did. Taking any statement from the current Spanish government at face value, would be a grave mistake.
baboonzFree MemberWouldn’t count on the spanish governmanet so much. Our current president is one of the most inept politicians of our era, that is president through a no confidence vote and alliances with our pseudo communist party. That statement is him trying get some rep with the other EU nations.
baboonzFree MemberYou are refering to “the right to be forgotten”
Your rights are explained here:

Almost any reasonable laptop will be able to play this game with ease.
However with cheap laptops, comes cheap builds. As people have mentioned above, a console or a desktop might be a cheaper option. The added benefit of the console is consistent performance.
Do you have the specs of the current laptop?
baboonzFree MemberAlmost 15 years ago the CEO of sun microsystems (sold for $1billion) said: “You have zero privacy anyway. Get over it.” Imagine how much privacy we have now.
Google processes the data in your e-mails in order to give you better advertising. There is an old case that discussed this. They argued that at the time they were able to give you much bettter storage of your e-mails than the competition due to the revenue of target advertising. Thus they were processing e-mails for the benefit of their customers.
The controversial point was when they were processing the incoming e-mails to a gmail account of users which had not signed up with gmail T&Cs.
I wrote an essay on this exact topic, wish I could find it so could link some cases….
baboonzFree MemberFrom what I understand your average member of the public cannot easily buy an assault rifle or any automatic weapon for that matter. The AR-15 stands for Armalite rifle -15. A semiautomatic rifle.
baboonzFree MemberThe fights before mcgregor vs khabib were much more interesting, shame about pettis braking his hand since they both looked like they were having a great time.
baboonzFree MemberStudentbeans and unidays are good places to look at for student discounts.
Freshers fair is the best time to stock up on calendars, dominos coupons, and other stuff.
The council tax exemption is probably the best freebie you’ll get.
baboonzFree MemberI built my own pc for around 1000, the thing is a beast, however the normal user experience is not as fluid or “nice” as my 4 year old Macbook pro retina. On the other hand it did cost just over half of what my macbook cost and it can play games. I am finding that the current pricepoint of apple devices only makes sense if you are intending to keep the device for 4+ years.
Also, whilst the price is attractive, I’m not sure I like the 21.5inch screen, seems too small.
baboonzFree MemberI can´t tell you why GB is so good, however I can tell you that both doping scandals and the economic recession hit spanish cycling (and many other sports) very hard.
baboonzFree MemberWhen I was buying mine in 27.5″ flavour CRC seem to intermittently stock them. The 2.5wt givs a much more confidence inspiring profile on 30mm rims than the 2.3 it replaced.
baboonzFree Memberwas out yesterday at the trails in Janet’s which tend to drain the worst, they were find on a dhf 2.5 and hr2 2.3 at the back
baboonzFree MemberI took creatine whilst doing weightlifting(3-4 times a week) and basketball(3 times a week), I think it did help. I found that I would recover faster from doing drills like “suicides” as well as running up and down the court.
You will notice how your body very mildly swells up due to water retention, if I remember correctly it was usually about 0.5 to 1kg extra weight that I would put on.
In terms of what to buy, buy “creatine monohydrate”, its one of the cheapest supplements out there and last time I checked there was no benefit in my buying the more expensive stuff.
baboonzFree MemberI would wait til September/October, its usually when they launch new Iphones, and its associated price restructuring. Also as others have said, the 6 is definitely at the end of its cycle.
baboonzFree MemberGraduate schemes at Nestle already ask you these sort of questions…….
baboonzFree MemberMinion DHF WT 2.5 front and 2.3 HR2 rear has been good in the offpiste of Glentress, Inners and the Golfie. Then again I don´t race…
baboonzFree MemberDepends how much of each stane you want to ride and preference for marked or unmarked.
You could easily spend 2 days at GT and 2 days at Innerleithen.
baboonzFree MemberIts not just the Labour party, its also the PSOE in Spain, and the Democrats in the US, all sharing a similar situation.
In my opinion:
1. Conservative parties shifted very much to the center, forcing leftist parties into more extreme political views so that they are differentiated.
2. 35% of Labour voted for Brexit, voters which Labour may be too scared to alienate. Also, wasn’t Corbyn a bit of an eurosceptic?
3.Middle-class and upper-class liberal message does not mix well with the working class “fight for our rights” message, add a little bit of pandering to minorities and you get a very very strange mix.
However its not like the other side is doing much better in terms of leadership, Conservative have to reconcilate within the party the fact that their money making machine (London), may take a huge hit after Brexit, however this is what 60% of their voter base wanted. The only thing going for them, is that they are predictable-other than in Brexit.
baboonzFree MemberMay want to see what the 2019 models have to offer, since the new shimano 105 hoods are being replaced with something less provocative.
baboonzFree MemberYou could wait for the annual “cube attain gtc for a grand” in rutland cycling…
baboonzFree MemberReally thin sock and football sock always did it for me.
Are your boots new? Do they fit properly?
It could just be your feet getting used to it….
baboonzFree MemberIf you pump it that high that quick there is not enough time for chambers to equalize, also the “liberal” amount of grease that sram puts doesn’t help.
Give the suspension some good hard bounces, this may force it to equalize, alterntiveley pull the fork into full travel, you should hear a hissing sound.
baboonzFree MemberCould be a bunch of things, figuring out and fixing your lower back is a bit of a black art.
This is what comes to mind:
1. Bar/stem set up, you are too stretched out or not stretched out enough.
2. Saddle is a few mm too high, the position might seem comfortable, but if someone is cycling behind you they will be able to see you rocking your hips.
3.You are going from attack position to pedalling out of the saddle straight away, I found this action was putting a big load on my lower back.
4. Your hamstrings are tight, tight hamstrings leads to tight back. Get a yoga mat, sit and stretch after the post ride shower.
5. You core isn’t strong enough, specifically your abs, since they are your midsection belt.
