Gaffa tape can be used to fix anything – fact, and if it doesn't work you didn't use enough. Should be fine!
+1 for lagging the frame so you don't damage it too

It's not an issue with MTBR itself, but the advertisers that run through the site. Megavideo is having the same problem, well them and a load of other sites… not a lot can be done about it! i ran Malwarebytes to get rid of most of it and used Glary utilities to kill the nasty little .exe file that AV Security uses on startup to load itself again.

I've not had an issue since!

Keep going with ASDA and other supermarkets, my dad jacked in his job lecturing IT at the local college (says he couldn't deal with the stress of controlling little jumped up scrotes whilst money was being continually cut from his department) and got a job straight off there. Happiest i'd seen him in ages, he now has all the free time he wants and very little responsibility!

Argh, the gf's uni flat mates have one and it sends me batsh*t, it gets stacked up with a good 20 teabags before it's removed usually (negating it's point, because with that number the tower of teabags topples and mucks up the side anyway)
It's just plain lazy not to whip them in the bin as soon as you've used them! Though if you're composting them i can see why you'd bother…

Recently learned to avoid Megavideo like the plague, theres an issue with their advertisers containing VERY malicious viruses that automatically load themselves on to your comuter and properly bu**er things up by pretending to be an antivirus programme.
Its happened to me and a few mates at uni, went in to the computer services department and aparrently it's a uni-wide epidemic… BOO!!!

It's like on one aimed for "stealth" and took it too far. nothing wrong with an understated bike, but that's taking the pi$$!

slx cranks on ribble cycles are £60 minus bb or £8 more for double and bash version. Bargain if you ask me.

oh and if you use the code "TRIP7" you get an extra 7% off on top, £55 for an SLX crankset, hell at that price i've just bought one!

BB isn't included though, not that that bothers me, HOPE bb's all the way

True enough, however I was pointing out with that comment that you were being pedantic over the semantics of the question, not the maths involved.

But this argument is a little redundant until the OP replies anyway..

Isn't that just being a little pedantic? I only offered a possible solution

Well if the question itself was open to interpretation it was a bad question. I'm sure the OP will be able to tell which of our answers is the one they need, we did both show working :P

    simple logarithms here

    33*32=3^n
    log(33*32)=log(3^n)
    Log(33*32)=n*log(3)

    n= log(33*32)/log(3) = 6.337..

    sorted!

haha but theres a massive issue with those x-lite bar-ends, they're glued between the clamp and bar, leading to them suddenly snapping off…

    yes… just right…

+1 for switching out the DMR V8s to Wellgo MG1s (if you're set on keeping the same platform) or anything by superstar, because they're spot on pedals and with the Ti axle option available they're pretty light!

+1 for checking pedals, had an annying creak for AGES

Greased everything i thought could be the cause to no avail, then i changed pedals and it completely disappeared!

Got a pair of Durin 120's too, bloody lovely things!

I will attest to them being a bit of a pain to set up in the first place, but after that you can forget about them for an age..
