Yeah, you’ll notice my failed attempt on an image from the last post.

It’s a 2016 matte black arkose 3 for those that asked.

Jameso, it’s definitely an alloy steerer. Something tells me the insert just isn’t in my forks. Unless you need longer than a 40mm m5 bolt. Odd eh?

Well, I’ve found no threaded hole. Just a hole and a massive load of nothing behind it. If I get a torch out and look,at it just right I can see the sfn at the top of the head tube.
    Am I missing a component?

You might even get the banhammer for sideloading[/url]

In other news, download your local area for offline use on Google maps to massively reduce battery and data usage on Pkgo

A quick word of warning to the android players. If you’re loading an apk to play in the UK, there’s every chancey you’ll lose your progress when the official EU release drops.

I’ve seen it happen with other games

If it’s a protest vote, I don’t get why people are voting ukip instead of simply spoiling their ballots. It’s a recorded figure, so it’s not wasted. Gah, don’t legitimize these fruitloops because you don’t like some other fruitloops.

lockring tool in a vice, wheel on top and all of your weight into the chainwhip. It’s how I finally managed to sort a very stuck cassette! Just get your directions right… :?

For full on brownie points, I’ve used a partridge quote for the one I made.
    Front: I love you,
    Inside: in a way.

Will report back with how pissed off she is later.

Not quite as horrific as something I’ve learned of: the Doncaster doughnut. The leftover ring of meat from the bottom of a kebab “elephant leg” that’s been battered and deep fried…
    *shudders*

Gah, conversation with the Mrs played out as such:

Her indoors: shall we have turkey this year? seen as it’s the first time we’re cooking.
Me: Hmm, I’ve never had turkey on christmas before. It was always gammon and chicken back home, tradition.
Her: Ooh, gammon, can you do a honey roast gammon? …and a turkey?
Me: we’re cooking for 5, it’s gammon and pigs in blankets.
    Her: *crestfallen look*

I thought that was the end of it, but not 2 hours later: “it’s ok, i’ve asked mum (MIL) to bring a turkey!”

Tips? an unrolled lamb shoulder, a whole bottle of young’s double chocolate stout, a touch of rosemary, onion and carrot.

The chocolate stout is the ingredient of gods (and kicks the arse off chemical tasting cooked down guiness, blegch)

+1 for the Lezyne. I just got the smaller Micro Drive (and cheaper at a touch over £30 in the wiggle sale) and it’s more than adequate for a mostly unlit 7 mile commute.

I’m with you on this, vocalist lacks some serious oomph. As a result, I always think they sound flat as hell, it’s no King Diamond, Opeth or Dimmu.
I even tried to give them a second chance at download and ended up buggering off during the first track. Nope
I can only place their popularity down to the fact that every time i hear them being promoted the spiel always includes “liked by the blokes from metallica and Dave Grohl etc.”

Aye I got one for my 21st 4 years ago. Worn it constantly, bashed it around. It’s never missed a beat. Lovely every day wear watches.

If you logged on enough hours in San Andreas, you’ll know exactly what a PIT maneuver is. Turns out it’s a fairly consistent way of removing rival racers!

I never go through a red light but sometimes just go onto the path and around, do people get fined for doing that ?

I’ve both seen and told off a police cyclist doing just that. Turns out it’s quite satisfying to shout “That’s a £30 fixed penalty for what you just did, I hope you give yourself a stern talking to”

    He didn’t look pleased.

I’ve been putting in at least 100 miles a week on a superleggera hub for well over two years now. Other than a couple of snapped spokes, they’ve not skipped a beat.

I did accept superstars hit and miss reputation, and didn’t come a cropper. They were the best spec for the money at the time!

    In before the octoporn…

Puzzle & Dragons is pretty damn good, like bejewelled crossed with pokemon. But it’s a bugger to get hold of because they’ve only released it on the Japanese and US play stores.. unless you hunt for the apk.
    +1 for Zen pinball too!

£15 for a chimney starter?! BigButSlimmerBloke, you’ve been had mate.

Picked one up in tesco the other week for the princely sum of £2.50!
Works like a charm too, +1 for using them. But I do question the portability of one as well as a BBQ

I’ve had this happen to me before, whilst on a canal path from a bridge with a fairly quick traffic route passing over and a couple of scrotey teenagers.
I was miserable and full of cold.
Did I take a long loop back and give them both barrels of a 20mph snot rocket? Well, I can neither confirm nor deny

Ah, gone are the days of the now banned CPS Super Soakers. The type that pressurised from a mains adapter instead of a hand pump.

    Pure brutal ownage.

Of all the people to be giving a telling off to for RLJing, I never expected to have to bollock a police cyclist. Yesterday evening was an interesting commute home!

What’s the fine for an RLJ again?

The problem with those ducti wallets is the sticky residue it leaves on your cards from the glue… stops them working in chip and pin machines :/

But if you can be arsed sending them back to America, they have a lifetime replacement guarantee. I didn’t replace mine due to the aforementioned issue…

Meh, Barely a sprinkle of snow in Sheffield, with none on the roads. And what were we stuck behind crawling down a large winding hill? The ugly bastard child of the Chelsea tractor craze, the Range Rover Evoque. A car that should have been more than capable of bombing down the hill, hamstrung by an idiot driver. Money > sense.

A little balance on the other side of the fence for you all.

Aye It looks like they’ve broke their total within a day (bloody hell $2m already!) I’m seriously interested in what they come out with. It’s a shame that Wizards didn’t allow them the IP though, so we end up with a proxy Torment.
Seeing the build up to the kickstater is what got me interested, I don’t know how I missed it being such an avid BG fan! I’ll be having a crack at setting up GemRB tonight to see if I can get it running on my phone.

Eep, I’ve just recently got back into a few point and click isometric rpg’s from the late 90’s early 00’s in a bid to recapture my youth. Just finished a run through of Baldur’s gate, and I’ve discovered planescape: torment. Bloody hell it’s good!

I’m of the inkling that if you go to the effort of laquering over the top of the name sticker, it makes it a bit more difficult for scrotes to shift after nicking your pride and joy.

I suppose it’s better than being gobbed on by some scrotes while passing under a canal bridge. I had that last thursday :/

The little sods didn’t know what hit them when I sneakily looped back to the bridge 2 minutes later and released a 20mph cold-laden snot rocket in revenge
I hope a lesson was learned, but I doubt it.

Ah, I suppose this is the time to mention those Deal Extreme (and Ebay) Fauxkley Jawbones that everyone on here raved over about 6 months back.

I’m sure I got a set of clear lenses in with them, and for less than £15 IIRC
