thanks for the feedback edhornby…yes the flyer is a good bike. It is abit heavier than my boardman carbon bike but seems to cover the ground almost as quick. I am not sure if this is the ‘magic’ of singlespeed or the fact I have no place to go on hills i.e. I cannot change down when it gets a little tough!

I love the concept of ‘life bikes but I guess that just means I have been ‘sold’ the advertiser’s idea!

BTW – sorry about the ‘aw’ stuff Nemesis, will not happen in future posts 🙁

I had a Toyota Avensis estate which was great for 3 kids and family as well as bikes with a roof bike rack but no way sporty of course.

I now have a Citroen Xsara Picasso which is a great people carrier and has removal seating turning it into a great bike carrier with two seats left. Of course can use rear rack and keep seating in.

    Thanks,

Took the train up and rode all the way home, about 40 miles. Got lost around London inBermondsey, near London bridge lol.

I stuck with SPDs in the end only because they were only £20 and I already had shoes and cleats. I also was used to them.

Julian actually did my bike fit – a real gent!

The bike is a dream, you almost do not need to pedal!

I propped it up in the front garden and just stared at it for ages. She is a beaut 🙂

    No vote no voice
You cannot complain if you do not vote
There are people dying in other countries to get the vote!

I did have 6 and then realised at least two or three do not get ridden. My strava tells me the boardman road bike beats all the others put together.

I sold my kona Cindercone, Alan top cross leaving only 3 single speed road bike, HT and carbon road bike. However will get a new steel road bike in 3 weeks time.

On the test bike the ride was superb, so light it flew along. Quite a step up from my entry level team carbon Boardman.

Cannot wait until I get in 3 weeks time!

The build was quite expensive with campag chorus grupset. Overall coming in at just over £3k.

The guys at Condor could not have been more helpful. I had a full bike fit on the rig to get the sizing exactly right.

I eventually bought a lovely Accaio steel framed Condor with campag chorus group set.

The bike build was just under my budget of £3k
