I wish you luck in both these endeavours but would ask if you think the pressure your putting on yourself is potentially going to give you more problems. Are you really ready to deal with failure which could come even with the very best preparation and training. There will be so many things out of your control which may affect the outcome. What I'm trying to say is that I worry that you might blame yourself if some external factor over which you have no control were to cause you to have to abandon either undertaking. Only you know the answer to that but maybe the people helping you may also be able to talk it through with you. Whatever you do I wish you the best of luck with rebuilding your life but please don't feel that it's your responsibility to try to sort out the problems of other servicemen Its not it,s all of ours. I'm sorry if this sounds negative as I don't mean it to be I just feel you must first look after yourself and your family before you take on responsibility for those that the rest of us have let down.

Isn't having all your tools from one manufacturer or range a sure sign in any field that you actually have no idea what your doing? :-)

James either supporting The Smiths at the Dome or Lloyd Cole at the Top Rank. I can't remember which it was though after 24 years or so. Which ever it was Del Amitri was the support at the other and they weren't bad either.

If that wall is very cold it's possible it could be condensation. We had a similar problem inside the built in wardrobe in my son's bedroom. I lined the inside of that with the thin polystyrene you get on a roll and it's cured the problem.

I had to abandon the off road commute this morning after about 20M as I'd sunk to the axles and was going nowhere. I had to resort to the undercliff walk and then ride through town. I was really impressed with the Mud X tyres in the snow and ice, the front wheel drifted away a few times but always gripped again before I found myself on the floor. Didn't dare clip in though

Iphide I've used that in Spain to listen to football on 5 Live. Just choose a UK option and the BBC website assumes your in the UK. I haven't tried it with I player but it's worth a try.

Mine started as waterproof but let in the rain now. I use them in the autumn and spring but don't find them all that warm in winter which I put partly down to the fingers being very tight, similar to when you put too many pairs of socks on and stuff your feet in your shoes and restrict the blood flow.

The error made by the union in the ballot is so glaring that you have to wonder if they knew exactly what they were doing. The only other possible explanation is incompetence.

Have you looked at Format Factory. A really useful bit of freeware.

A lot of relieved people all round I think. Suits everyone, Union got to look tough and BA can continue to exist for a bit longer at least. The workforce have been able to show how strongly they feel and it hasn't cost them anything.

I too have the older Gill version. I could have gone with the small but went up to the medium too allow for more layers underneath if necessary. It's quite a slim cut so even going up a size hasn't left me with something that flaps around. It's a good jacket and works well though it would be nice just to have one pocket in it.

jahwomble the pa really wasn't for vocal reinforcement, the size of the room didn't warrant one, it was for their audio demos and therefore had too meet their exact criteria, hence we did not supply it for them.

Yes because that's how I get home from work. The mud is nicely frozen now which is good in parts but very bad where the horses have been churning it up as it makes for hard going. And is just me or does frozen grass have even more drag than wet grass.

Remember those that tell you whether something sounds good or not can only do this if they can see the unit and the badge on it.

It must be cold pressed though bananaworld as the heating used in the processing of normal rapeseed oil changes it and you lose the benefits over other vegtable oils.

Cold pressed rape seed oil is better than sunflower oil and even olive oil as it has a better balance of Omega 3 and 6. I've barley touched any meat fish or dairy products in the last twenty five years and never worried about fat or protein to be honest. If your hungry eat if your not don't and eat as variedly as you can. You may lose a bit of weight initially but it will soon stabilise. And I'll let you into a little secret which is hidden it seems from a large proportion of the population and that is that it's the amount of calories you consume and expend that determines what happens to your weight.

We did a conference for the institute of acoustics recently. They wanted lighting and projection equipment from us but naturally brought along their own PA and engineer. We were rather surprised to see the guy using a Bose system with some modified Ramsas to handle the lower frequencies. But then this guy is just an expert on acoustics and hasn't necessarily attended all the prejudice classes that is the mainstay of AV tech training. :-)

What you need is a Ti bed frame. It will magically soften the ride while maintaining all important feedback.

I use the Nikwax wash and reproofer and it works well. No need to tumble dry either. i've tried Grangers in the past but didn't find it as good and that does require tumble drying.

I fly a lot, mainly with BA and their cabin crew certainly don't warrant higher pay than those in competitor airlines. It may well be that other crews are underpaid but if your a BA crew member it's time to realise that you simply have not been providing the level of service that warrants higher pay than crew on other airlines.

On European flights the service in the air is no better than with Easyjet ( it's on the ground where Easyjet are poor in relation to BA not once your on the plane) and on long haul I've flown with BA, Emerates and Cathay Pacific in the last year and BA come last in last place in terms of service.

Again it's not really that they are ooverpaid it's that others are doing better for less. I take it that everyone supporting the strikers on here only uses bike shops and never uses CRC and Wiggle etc and is happy to pay more for the same or often worse service. Oh and has never of course ever taken a cheap flight.

I'll hopefully finish around midnight tonight and then it's a day off in Valencia tomorrow until my flight at around 10pm. A day off in lieu for both days so that's ok. Oh and it's warm and sunny and doesn't appear to have rained in years.

Fiat Doblo here. 3 kids in the back all with booster seats and still a large boot. The Multipla really doesn't have the luggage room that a car with 6 seats should have. A bit agricultural but it's been reliable for the 2 1/2 years we've had it and averages over 50mpg despite doing mainly urban driving and fairly short distances.
