Perhaps you could try racehorse piss instead of the lucozade.
It's probably still full of performance enhancing substances that will sort you right out.

Whats the crossover between those that believe in magic cables that speak only unto them and those that believe in a supreme being.

You only have to spend a bit of time in Amsterdam before you notice that the majority of bikes are secured with locks that clearly are worth far more than the bikes they are securing. So I guess there is no bike that won't get nicked.

Try slowing the burn speed. That should tell you if it's a data transfer speed problem.

"Americans are imperialist **** who aren't really on the other side of the world to help the local people, shocker"

Ernie Lynch deems all people of one country guilty of the actions of a few shocker!

Seems as if your as prejudiced and as narrow minded as the people you are so quick to condemn. I'm sure that doesn't reflect you're considered opinion and is just a reaction to the horrific events in those videos.

Sounds like the really gnarly dangerous route where a helmet is a must.

TJ you have never ridden that cycle path have you! You have no idea of the the utterly brainless visitors and residents that like to walk along there and for some reason are attracted to throwing themselves in front of you. I feel safer on the roads than many of the cycle paths in Brighton & Hove.

Just had the same issue with BB7's which use the same pads. Inboard one was going in without problems but I had to use a lot more force on the outboard one.

You could offer the guy his money back plus some compensation for his wasted time. The errors all appear to be yours and he seems to have bought the bike within the rules.

Just to confirm the wind is really bad at the moment. I had to run a mile of my commute yesterday as every time I tried to ride I was blown off the track and into the ploughed field. On the grass the fields I had to tack as I was being blown sideways down the hill. Hopefully it'll calm down by next week.

I could see "woppit" being adopted by some on here as the ultimate insult. :-)

And forgive me if I'm wrong Mr W but I think he'd be dead proud.

When a friend of mine was in the RAF he had a colleague who liked to take a crap in an ice cream tub, give it a couple of days on a sunny window sill and then post it to his chosen victim.

I know someone who put up kitchen wall cabinets on a plasterboard wall in their office. Those who had advised against were most amused to watch the cabinet by now full of brand new crockery hitting the deck and smashing the lot.

Thorn recommend 5mm brake outer and 1.1mm gear inner as a better solution. It's what they fit to all of their bikes.

Cables on my Thorn are nearly 4 years old and have received no maintenance at all so I would also go with their advice if you are going to be changing the cables. Also look on the Thorn forums in case anyone has had similar problems.

This "debate" between Mr Woppit and molegrips needs to be solved in a scientific manner. We need an unbiased member of the forum and some witnesses to measure both Mr Woppits and molegrips fathers to see whose is the biggest and we need to do it before one of them claims ownership of the ball and takes it home.

Only thru taxation – I doubt very much your contributions subsidise directly any other kids in the school.

Not really true TJ. Our children's school often asks for voluntary donations to take part in activities. All children are allowed to take part but it's entirely paid for by those willing and able to pay. I've no objection to our contribution helping those unable to pay but I don't really like subsidising the unwilling. The activities only go ahead if enough people are willing to collectively pay enough for all the children to take part.

Some people need or want to believe in God or gods and others don't. I think that about sums it up.

As for Mr Woppit I think he spends most of his life stimulating himself.

avdave2 – Do you actively seek out things to be offended by?

I don't recall saying I was offended. I'm not, I don't think I've ever been offended on someone else's behalf . In the context of this forum it's rather witty reply from BigJohn. We all know though that had that been in London he wouldn't have made the comment.

Oh good BigJohn, I take it from that only foreigners were killed so we can have a laugh about it.
